I sat at the dining having another tormenting breakfast with alpha Damien’s hand around my waist as he also savored his meal and Lucy stares were all on me as I made sure to glare back at her.
“Why are you two giving each other the death glare?” Alpha Damien questioned breaking the silence between me and Lucy but I didn’t really care and just stood up.
“I am not hungry anymore.” I said about to leave when Luther walked in..I stood still unable to move as I watched Luther slumping to his seat.
“I thought you wanted to leave…NO APPETITE.” Alpha Damien exaggerated the last words making me bite my lip in anger.
I haven’t seen Luther for a while and now he is here but I made the bad decision of wanting to leave the dining table early.
“Amelia?” Alpha Damien called making me turn around quickly.
“Huh….? I was just angry but as I stood up my tummy groaned .” I lied before taking my seat back.
“Or because Luther walked in.” Alpha Damien said with an angry tone which Was clear to me he was jealous and angry that I took my words back because of Luther but I really wanted to see him.
“Father, please not now.” Luther murmured and I knew immediately that he wasn’t in a good mood..I continued to eat my meal even though I lost my appetite as my stares went back to Luther from time to time and as I gave him one last stare he caught my gaze with a smile.
I smiled back and something within me began to sprang up like an inner joy. “What’s wrong with me.” I thought as I stared at Luther just then something out of the ordinary happened.
“Amelia.” I heard a voice from within me which wasn’t my thought and in fright I threw my spoon to the table causing a large thud and everyone attention was on me,
“Amelia, what’s wrong?” Alpha Damien asked in concern but I didn’t know how to explain it, how was I supposed to explain this if I don’t know what just happened.
“I…..” I got cut of shut with the same voice.
“It’s me Leah.” The voice said and that made me stand up in fright, what could possibly be going on?
Alpha Damien stood up with me and tapped my shoulder to relief the stress in my eyes but it clearly wasn’t going.
“Amelia, talk to us.” Luther said to me for the first time and surprisingly I felt a relieve urge, like his voice sorts the sound in me.
“Who is Leah?” I questioned and realized I shouldn’t have said it out loud.
“Leah.” Luther said standing up as he slowly walked up to me but Alpha Damien pushed me to his side like he still didn’t want Luther to get close to me.
“I also heard that name before.” Luther said but stopped like he had realized he almost spilled something.
“What do you mean you heard that name? No one said anything not even mention someone’s name and now you are claiming to know the name she just called.” Alpha Damien said but I didn’t really care about the words there were exchanging because I was still trying to understand what just happened.
“Maybe she wa having a little discussion with her inner wolf.” Lucy said making all the brides stare at her like she had just said something that was more like an abomination.
“Her inner wolf is too weak to say a word to her.” Alpha Damien said so boldly like he was the one in charge of my body or he knew me more than I knew myself.
“How do you know my inner wolf is weak?” I question him and he also behaved like Luther from earlier who acted like he had just realized he made a mistake when talking.
“I ….I uh…I have been intimate with you so many times so I know that your wolf is a weak one because she didn’t make any sound with my inner wolf.” Alpha Damien said but I didn’t really understand much of what he said and just kept quiet and stared at him and Luther, they seem to be both hiding something that has to do with my inner wolf.
“I think Leah is the name of your inner wolf..” Luther broke the silence again.
“How do you know that my inner wolf name is Leah?” I questioned Luther who chuckled.
“Because that would be the only logical reason why your inner wolf acts that way.” Luther said before quickly returning to his seat and continued to eat his meal like nothing just happened.
Something about the both of them is weird, first Luther knew the name I just called and could immediately tell it was my inner wolf and secondly Alpha Damien knew almost immediately that my inner wolf was weak even though I never said it to them and neither did them Isabelle know.
“I would be excusing myself now.” I said and walked out as Alpha Damien was a bit distracted with whatever he was doing giving me a chance to silently walk away.
I walked slowly down the hallway and surprisingly the guards weren’t following me around neither were they standing at all edges of the hallway.
I hummed a song that came to my mind as I played with my finger and a wide smile crawled up to my face, was this how it felt to be able to connect with your inner wolf? I thought as the memory of the way I felt just few minutes ago rushed back to me and my smile spread even wilder.
Just then I felt a strong grip on my hand pulling me to a corner well hidden only for to look up and it was Luther who was breathing heavily, had he just raced after me?
“Lu….” I was cutted off short with Luther lips on mine.
