Chapter two: Attack on Neptune

                           Chapter two

On Neptune,the Neptunean king had received word from his generals that Pluto had been conquered and enslaved by kataros and that king ziphar of Pluto had been killed and his body burned.

Palamedes(king of Neptune):my queen come,I seek your advice on a serious matter.

Angela (queen of Neptune):(walks out of the bedroom)yes,my Lord what is it?

Palamedes:I just received word from my generals that Pluto had been conquered and enslaved by a ruthless general named kataros and that king ziphar had been killed

Angela:oh my,well then my Lord I suggest we flee before he arrives and kills us.

Palamedes:No,I will not and cannot flee I will stay and fight the enemy (goes to her and touches her shoulder)but I fear for you and our daughter the princess so am getting a spaceship ready to take you to earth cos I got information that king ziphar's wife and child and general minos are on earth so am sending you both to them to protect you both and you must leave immediately.

Angela As it pleases your majesty (as she leaves to take her daughter to a spaceship and leave for earth)

Palamedes:Goodbye my love and my princess (as he watches them leave then leaves to rally his troops for the impending attack from kataros and his army)

 While on Pluto kataros's army had captured and taken most of Pluto's men as his soldiers of war and also getting ready to leave for Neptune while the rest of the men had been tortured and killed to instill fear into the rest but this had failed.

Zeno:Great general everything is ready and we are ready to attack Neptune

Kataros:perfect then let's go

Zeno:Great general there is just one problem

Kataros:what is it

Zeno:Great general most of the men we captured committed suicide on board 

Kataros:that's not a problem just dump their bodies somewhere on the planet we will destroy the planet as well as their bodies (with an evil smile)

Zeno:As you command great general (as he leaves to carry out kataros's orders)

 On Neptune the news of kataros impending attack on on the planet had caused a panic among the citizens as most were leaving the planet,so Palamedes called a war council of the army generals to make\think of a suitable war plan on stopping kataros

Palamedes:My able and loyal generals,you all know that kataros destroyed Pluto and he is coming for our planet next and this has caused a panic among our citizens 

Balio(second in command):(stands up)My noble king and other esteemed general I humbly suggest we send two fleets of ships filled with men to fight off kataros for the meantime while we prepare the other troops to fend off the attack once it comes from kataros (sits down)

Mindo(third in command):(stands up)my king I suggest we listen to Balio and do this immediately they might not hold off kataros for long but they will give us time and that's we need right now

Palamedes:I thank you both for your suggestion and the plan should be implemented right now and Balio and Mindo I leave you both to see to it immediately (as he leaves the war council)

Balio and Mindo:yes your majesty (as they stand up to leave and implement the strategy)

 On kataros spaceship various terrible punishments were being done on the plutoan men to keep their loyalty in check

Kataros:My loyal and able zeno how long till we get to Neptune

Zeno:Two more days my general 

Kataros:perfect,what about the men that are left that we captured on Pluto

Zeno:most of the men have pledged their loyalty to us but the rest are still unwilling but we are punishing them to break their spirits 

Kataros:perfect,what about our allies will they join us in the fight against Neptune?

Zeno:yes my Lord,they are sending nineteen spaceships filled with men to aid us in the fight 

Kataros:Alright you can leave

Zeno:OK,great general (as he leaves to attend to other matters on the ship)

 As kataros's spaceships gradually reached Neptune he (kataros) had no idea that Neptune had sent spaceships to intercept and slow down his progress until the ships crashed in battle

Zeno: Great general our scanners just picked up two Neptunean spaceships and our sources indicate they are here to fight us and halt our progress

Kataros:signal our men to get ready and Zeno let them board us I want an all out battle

Zeno:as you wish great general (as he leaves to get the army ready)

Kataros:so the Neptunean king thinks he can halt my advance,well we will just see about that

The Neptuneans boarded the spaceships of kataros and an all out battle ensured and kataros's men were able to fend off the attack killing all but five men loyal to the king of Neptune and Zeno brought them to kataros

Kataros:so you thought you could win and halt my advance didn't you?well you lost and you didn't even do much to halt my advance now bow down to your new ruler

All five soldiers:we will never bow down to you

Kataros:(angry)then you all die,zeno kill them all

Zeno:yes,my general (as he kills them all five of them according to kataros's orders)

Kataros:speed to Neptune immediately (as he leaves)

Zeno:yes,my general (as he leaves to put the ship into hyper speed and make the engines run faster).

Meanwhile queen Angela and her daughter spaceship crashed on earth,minos had already received message of their arrival when he went to the site where queen Angela and her daughter had crashed he rescued them and brought them to the house where he and queen Elvina and her son were hiding

 Neptune had received news about the men they had sent to halt kataros advance

Balio:your majesty we received news about the men we sent to halt kataros advance

Palamedes:Did they succeed?

Balio:No my king but they did buy us time most of our defenses are ready

Palamedes:that's good news at least

Kataros ships arrives a day earlier than expected and the battle began but kataros's men were unable to overrun Neptune's defenses as they had done previously on Pluto even with the sun warriors aid as many of them fell prey to the defenses of the Neptuneans

Kataros:this battle is taking too long their defenses are good and too strong,what do you suggest we do Zeno?

Zeno:Great general I suggest we pretend to retreat and leave a detachment of troops to fight them while we go to the back of the planet and attack them,they will be stretched and we can easily defeat them

Kataros:hmm,I like the idea that is why I have you as my second in command see to it that's done

Zeno:yes my Lord the great general

Kataros spaceships pretended to retreat and left a detachment of troops and went to the back of the planet and attacked it by surprise when king Palamedes saw this happening he knew that Neptune had fallen and he committed suicide along with his remaining soldiers

Kataros:finally Neptune has fallen,let the soldiers rest and in three days we leave for Uranus

Zeno:OK great general
