Chapter 25 - Troy

~Troy’s Point of View~

A limo. Of course Alice’s mom sent a limo. I’d never been in one, it was bigger than a lot of caves I’d slept in and certainly better stocked. I watched as Dough poured champagne for each of us and I was suddenly very grateful he came along. I still didn’t know his deal, but I trusted him and knew he’d protect Alice with his very life. He sure as hell had, against three damn wolves after all. He’d taken some deep cuts for his efforts but he was already healed.

I didn’t get a vibe that he liked Alice or that there was anything between the two of them so I had to wonder why he had followed us into the woods that night. Why he would have thrown himself over her and defend her while in heat. Clearly he didn’t feel obligated to explain himself so I didn’t push it. Hell he could have tried to claim her for himself, but he hadn’
