Chapter 11

Silently, James came to stand next to me. I could see him in my peripheral vision, but I didn’t acknowledge him. Not even with a glance. He didn’t say anything either. He just stood beside me. I wanted to meet someone interesting. But the one that stuck to me, was someone I didn’t want next to me. Okay, to be honest, I didn't know him. But I didn't have a feeling that a fulfilling conversation was his goal with me.

I didn’t converse with him in hopes he would trot off. But I guess he didn’t have a sense that he was disturbing me. Such a b*gger. My skin was covered with goosebumps again. It was such a weird feeling. It made me anxious every single time. I couldn’t explain it. And if I couldn’t explain it, I freaked out about it. And if I was freaking out, I needed to push it away or run away. Either way – I needed it as far from me as possible. But he was a determined guy. I had to give him that.
