Shane could feel it wasn’t going to be easy to say sorry, nor did he do something to say that. He wasn’t even sure what he would say but he knew how his step-mom was.

He could guess most probably how she had behaved with Aiden but yet his silence about it yesterday was bothering him.

He had to do something to assuage it.

He was still in his thoughts when the door of his cabin was pushed open.

"Aiden, I am sorry." Words were rolled out without much thought even shocking Shane.

But it only confused the person who got to hear it. Clarke Lockwood stood dumbfounded hearing Shane. As much as he knew, sorry was one of the words that never came frequently from Shane.

Not to the employees at least. Cause he had never messed up. He was cold-hearted but he never vented frustration or anger out on people who wasn’t at fault basically.
