“Come in,” The man said in a low voice.

The waiter opened the door of the box and invited her in.

Sharon entered while holding onto the bright bouquet of roses. At first glance, she noticed he was sitting on a big round table inside the huge private room. He was not sitting in a wheelchair as well. She looked at the man’s slender and strong legs and asked, “Are your legs alright?”

“Were you hoping that I wouldn’t get better? Did you want to take care of me all the time?”

“That’s not what I meant,” She walked toward him. He was wearing a dark striped shirt today with two loose buttons on the neckline. It was different from his rigorous self at work and a little more casual.

She subconsciously relaxed, and when she was about to sit down, she remembered the flowers in her hands. “Why’d you suddenly give me roses?”

“You don’t like them?” He asked instead of answering.

“What kind of girls wouldn’t like such delicate and fresh flowers?” She did not give him a direct answer either.
