INICIAR SESIÓNAlexie’s POV Freya wouldn't stop jumping around in excitement since morning when Vivian started packing her stuff into the luggage. She is so happy to be finally going to her pack and as for me, I don't even kike that idea, and a part of me wants to stay back. I've grown used to living in this pack that the only thing that I promise will make me step out of the Silvermoon pack is business but here we are, getting ready to go stay in the pack that traumatized me for one week. Nevertheless, a week over there won't hurt and my company is already in good hands. “Daddy will come pick us up, right?” Freya asked, dragging luggage toward the door. “No, we are going by ourselves.” She shrugged her shoulders and continued doing what she was doing. “I’ll miss you guys.” Vivian sighed sadly, zipping up the last bag. “We’ll miss you too, Vivian.” Freya giggled softly. I got up after handing her my skincare kit to shower and my phone started to ring. I stared at the caller for a
Rafe’s POV My mind couldn't accept that Skipper went out to see a friend dressed like that. Her dressing obviously showed that she went to a party, or a date and I wasn't surprised that I felt nothing like I did when Desmond is closer to Alexie. Anyways, the only thing bothering me is the fact that she is carrying my child—if it is even mine and her current behavior has put a doubt in my mind regarding her pregnancy but whatever it is, time will tell. “Whatever it is you are doing, I will catch you red-handed someday. In the meantime, Freya is coming soon so make sure you stay out of her path.” She wiped her tears, standing up on her feet. “What do you mean I should stay away from her? Did someone tell you that I will harm her?” No one told me that but I just don't completely trust Skipper anymore. She must be admiring Freya publicly, but no one knows what is in her heart. “As I have said before, Freya is like a daughter to me since she's yours and I will try all my best to tak
Rafe’s POV Saying I was over the moon when Alexie gave her approval is an understatement. I didn't expect her to agree so easily; I only mentioned that she had to follow me to my pack to see her reaction—not because I could force her—and she surprised me by agreeing. So to make sure they are comfortable when they arrive, I returned to my pack early to see how things were going with Freya’s room. With Alexie also coming, I must also get another room for her in the mansion so that I could keep an eye on her, spend quality time with her to draw her attention towards me and if I am lucky, she would open her heart to me again. Arriving at the Lunskye pack didn't take much time and instead of going straight home, I made a stop at the hospital to see Skipper briefly. However, Skipper wasn't at the hospital. “Luna didn't come to the hospital, Alpha Rafe.” The doctor confirmed, making me more perplexed. I was the one who carried Skipper out of the room, put her inside the car, and watched
Alexie’s POV Whether Freya was kidnapped or not, I was confused because a few minutes after Rafe arrived, Vivian returned home with Freya. And none of them looked like something had happened especially Vivian who was the one who called me. “Daddy is here?” Freya didn't even look at my side, her attention was all on her dad, surprised to see him in the house. She walked up to him, her little mouth pouting. “Why did you leave that day without telling me goodbye?” As she scolded him, I signaled to Vivian, making her follow me to my room. Inside the room, I made her close the door behind her before asking. “Did you lie to me that Freya was missing?” She shook her head, her face looking at the floor. “Lift your head and speak to me because I am so confused right now. If Freya wasn't missing, why did you cry on the phone that she was kidnapped? Did someone pay you to do it?” Or was it Rafe who conspired with her to do it so that he would put fear in my mind and make
Alexie’s POV I was in my room, reminiscing about what Elder Luna said about taking Freya to the Lunskye pack to see her when Vivian’s call came through. Vivian had gone out with Freya to shop for candies, and snacks that Freya loves so much. I didn't even want to let her go but she insisted and I had no choice but to. And when the call came in that she couldn't find Freya, I was shocked beyond words and became confused. I'd wanted to call Desmond for help again, but couldn't because I was afraid of what happened the last time repeating itself. If I made that mistake, Rafe would sense it and another fight would break out again so I called Rafe instead. After dropping Freya’s phone on the sofa, the doorbell rang and Desmond walked in. I was confused as to why he knew about that because even the police, I haven't informed them yet. “Freya will be found, okay?” He stepped closer, making an effort to hold my hand however, I stepped back, pretending I didn't notice what he was
Rafe’s POV I stood in the corridor between the left and right wings, watching the maidservants bring out all the baby things Skipper had bought and stored in the room. I have no idea how she managed to bring everything into the mansion without me knowing, because there were so many, mind-blowing. She stood by my side, her arms folded beneath her chest, staring at them sadly like that was the end of everything she had bought. “Stop making that face, they'll think I am being mean to you.” She muttered something, but I didn't hear what she said so I ignored her and focused on the workers. “Alpha Ryder, the interior decorator is here.” Skipper sighed under her breath as my assistant announced. “Bring her in.” He bowed his head and hurried off. “But, Rafe, this is…” I walked away from her but she hurried after me, pleading. “Since I've already chosen this room. Shouldn't you at least allow me to use it even for the fact that I've already decorated it?” She grabbed my arm,
