24: Let's hit the Beach
I didn't take my eyes off Damien because I was waiting for an answer. He shrugged and glared at Bethany.
"What are you doing here?"
"Isn't it obvious? It's a beach you bum...here for a little break" she grinned taking a seat next to Damien. My nails clawed at the wooden table.
"Break huh? Is Alberto here with you?" Damien asked. Why is he even interested in that? I frowned looking away. My mood was already ruined. And here I thought I got away from everything in Miami but here sits the devil staring and throwing sharp glares at me.
Her eyes darted to my stomach.
"Wow....You look so round" she smiled. "Congratulations you two" she said and then stroke Damiens arms.
