Deanna waited until they got back to the house before she began to really look at Max. He was acting so weird when they were at the house that she was slightly confused. Max had been the one who rolled with everything that had happened and even the one who was pushing to get married quickly. Though he said it was to protect her, she knew it was so much more that he wanted.
