Judgmental eyes fell on me. The man looked like a noble upright man while I looked like a shameless hooker, who had exhausted all her means to seduce the man.

He stood there in all his glory with casual clothes and a neat appearance, while I looked like I just had an illicit tumble in the hay.

I shook as my rage took over the good half of my working brain. The little I had about me left me when my eyes fell on Old Henry, the Gardener giving me 'shame on you eyes' from the sidelines.

I looked behind me to see that awful sewer rat now sitting on the sofa as if nothing ruffled his feathers while he observed the good show.

I wished to be buried under the debris of this very building as my father looked at me with dismay. This was going to escalate into a scandal. A stain on my name forever... there were too many mouths to close. With nothing left at my disposal, I took out the big guns.
