Chapter 35

"Who are you?"

She asked as her body trembled in fear and her heart rampaged, causing her to almost faint from holding her breath for too long. The white long, silk curtain flaps in the strong whooshing of the wind. And a sharp, blinding light strikes the ground as if the deities have been really furious. Then comes next the loud thud of thunder after it, making her run under the table and curling her body like a millipede with heavy breaths and sweats dripping on her face even though the place was about ten degrees.

"Please, have mercy!"

She silently mumbled numerous times with her eyes closed and hands clasped together tightly. She was alone in that dark, gloomy, and haunted house so she didn't know where to go, hide, or call on. She felt helpless.

"HAHAHA."

She curled herself more, making sure that she won't be seen by the killer, after hearing his psychotic laugh. He's getting nearer to where she is, walking slowly with the sounds of chain clanking in his hands.
