Chapter Sixteen

Moments passed before Ruckus was done with his pleasure hunt. He lay on the bed and watched Jael dress up.

" I guess this will be the last I will see you for another couple of days. " Jael said , packing her hair behind.

Ruckus giggled. " Would you want this juicy moment to take many days before it comes again?"

" Well, if I were to choose, I would be here every night till I have had enough that will last for years. "

" That would probably take forever to have that much. " Ruckus mused. " Anyway, I hope you still remember the assignment. "

Jael glanced at him and smiled. " Do you think I would forget something like that?"

" I believe you won't."

" It is as important to you as it is to me. " Jael replied. " When you have ascended the throne, there would be no need for me to wait for days to set my eyes on you. I will be with you always, then. "

" Just do the right thing, Jael. Do it as fast as you can. I am an impatient man."
