Chapter 5

It was so warm and cozy. When was the last time I slept comfortably? The Ladon Family sure has a nice comforter for their employees. My hands grab some pillow and I grab something that wakes me up from my deep slumbered.

When I opened my eyes, I saw Rosh Ladon sleeping beside me! The one grab is his face!

"Oh my god! What are you doing here?" I screamed to wake him up.

"This is my room! Could you keep quiet! It's too early in the morning!" Rosh replied.

I looked around and Rosh was right, this is not my room.

"How did I end up here? Did you bring me here?" I asked him.

"You walked here on your own. I did carry you to your room but you always come back here!" Rosh explained in an irritated way.

"Did I walk in my sleep?" I asked him.

"Yes, now you are completely awake, would you leave my room now!" Rosh replied and ordered me to leave.

I can't believe I walk in my sleep. Did my body's exhaustion trigger a sleepwalk condition? And why did my feet go to Rosh's room? That's a mystery.

I can't look at the direction of Rosh during our breakfast. He looks like he had a sleepless night because of me. Did I really come back to his bed to sleep?

"Raia after breakfast you may start jogging in the garden. The twins will come with you." Rosh told me.

"Yes sir." I replied but I don't have the guts to look at him now.

"Uncle, can we go to the mall today after the training?" Matt asked Rosh.

"We can visit the Kid's Center too." Maia said.

" Okay, we can go to the mall together." Rosh replied to the twins.

"Yehey!" the twin cheers.

After the training I quickly took a shower and prepared all the things that the twins might needed. The twins are excited and waiting inside the car. I was the last one who will come inside the car. The passenger's seat is the only one available beside Rosh.

I sat in the passenger's seat. Rosh started the engine of the car.

"What took you so long?" Rosh asked me.

"I just double checked the things of the twins." I replied.

"Next time, don't bring too much. We will go to the mall, we can just bring if we forgot something." Rosh replied.

"Sorry, it's just a habit of mine. Next time I will not bring anything." I replied. I feel a little annoyed. Is he flaunting their wealth?

We arrived at the mall. The twins linked in both of my arms while entering the mall.

"Raia, you will be in charge of the twin's safety. I will go now to my office." Rosh reminds her.

"Yes sir!" I replied without looking at his face. I still can't look at his face.

"Raia, let's go to the Kid's Center." Matt said and pulled my arms.

"Say goodbye first to your uncle." I said to Matt and Maia to have some manners to his uncle.

"Goodbye uncle." emotionless said to their uncle.

Rosh laughed at the reaction of the twin saying goodbye.

"Behave." Rosh reminds the twins.

"Yes!" the twins replied.

When we entered the Kid's Center, my former colleague bombarder me with questions about how I would end up working for the Ladon Family.

"The twin requested me to be their babysitter." I replied.

"Wow, you are so lucky. There's a rumour that the staff of the Ladon Family are selected by their head of the family. They don't want any outsider. You need a strong recommendation from their family before they hire you." Viola said. My former colleague.

"Really? I think the twins recommended me." I replied.

"I can't believe that those mischievous twins came from the Ladon Family. " Julie said.

I saw someone approaching the twins and handing some paper.

"Excuse, what did you give to the twins?" I asked the lady.

"I am Jessie, babysitter of this kid named Ruth. We gave an invitation to the twins for Ruth's 6th birthday." Jessie explains.

"Thank you for the invitation. I will send the message to the guardian of the twins. I am Raia, the babysitter of the twins." I replied and introduced myself to Jessie.

"Thank you, I hope the twins will come to Ruth's party." Jessie replied.

After the twins played at the Kid's Center. They asked to come to the office of Rosh to inform them about the party of Ruth.

I saw Rosh was busy with his work and I told the twins not to disturb their uncle and to wait until lunch time. We decided to wait in the lounge area of the office.

The twins feel sleepy and decide to sleep and put their heads on my lap. I know they are tired from the training and playing in the Kid's center.

"Why don't you bring the twins home." Rosh said when he noticed us in the lounge area.

"Matt and Maia want to eat lunch with you and they are excited to tell you that someone invited them to a party." I replied.

It was only 11 o' clock. Rosh looked at his watch and asked about his schedule during lunch.

"Sir, you have extra time between 11 am to 12 noon." his secretary replied.

Rosh looked at me.

"Let's go to have an early lunch." Rosh said to me and woke up the twin.

We went to the nearby restaurant inside the mall. While waiting for our food to be served, the twins asked their uncle to attend the party.

"Can we go to the party please?" Matt pleaded.

"If I will let you attend the party, you have to behave." Rosh replied.

"Yes, we will behave uncle. Raia will be with us." Maia. replied.

"Okay." Rosh replied.

We arrived at the party. It was a children's party with a lot of games and activities for the children. The twins are enjoying the party and playing with the other kids.

I was sitting on the reserved seats for the twins when a guy approached me and introduced himself.

"Hi, I am Hedwig Bryant. I am the godfather of the birthday celebrant." Hedwig introduced himself.

"Raia David. The babysitter of the twins." I replied.

"I see, I heard some urban legends about the Ladon's Family." Hedwig replied and tried to start a conversation.

"Really!? I don't know that." I replied and acted clueless.

"Some rumour said that they have supernatural powers." Hedwig intrigued the stories.

"I am new to the family of Ladon and I never heard of that issue." Raia replied and tried to avoid the conversation without Hedwig noticing.

"What issue?" Rosh asked. He suddenly showed up and I didn't notice that he came.

"Rosh Ladon in the flesh, nice meeting you!" Hedwig greeted Rosh with arrogance.

"Raia get the twins, we are leaving now." Rosh.

"Why are you leaving? It's too early." Hedwig tried to stop me by holding my arms.

Rosh removed the hands of Hedwig from my arm.

"Whoah, you looked annoyed." Hedwig provokes Rosh.

"Don't push your luck Hedwig." Rosh warns Hedwig.

I inform the twins that Rosh us here and we are leaving. When I already got the twins I saw Rosh annoyed at the presence of Hedwig. I can sense a tension between them.

When we are inside Rosh's car. Rosh started to preach to me after meeting Hedwig.

"Your job is to supervise the twins and not flirting with some stupid guy." Rosh started to confront me.

"I am not flirting with Hedwig. I still supervise the twins." I replied back because I didn't do anything wrong.

"Huh…Hedwig!?.really and you are calling in his first name already?" Rosh said in annoyance.

"Hedwig is his name, what do you want me to call him?" I asked him.

"Did you say something to that asshole?" Rosh said and started to raise his voice.

"No! of course not." I replied.

I avoided the gazed of Rosh. I know he had prejudice against me. I looked away and looked at the sky. I saw a full moon rising in the sky.

I turned my head back and saw the three of them were changing their appearance. Rosh stopped the car before he changed into a werewolf.

I am calling the butler if the Ladon Family to asked some help and assistance when I saw Rosh running towards me. It's a good thing that I already ended the call when Rosh attacked me! I saw pitch black before closing my eyes.
