Werewolf's Babysitter

"Is this the end for me? Am I going to die?" The only thought that comes to my mind when I saw my twin guest's transform into werewolves!

It was just 5 minutes ago, when I saw my twin guests in the Kid's Center behaving unusually. They are my regular customers who always visit Kid's Center every weekend. At first, the twins were mischievous and didn't listen to the other staff.

Most of the staff in the Kid's Center were avoiding to assist the twins because of their bad behaviour until my manager assigned me to them. I just did my job and treated the twins like the other kids and ignored their bad behaviour. But today I noticed that they are not comfortable and irritated. The twin left the Kid's Center in a hurry and they forgot their backpacks. I grabbed their backpacks and followed them in the basement and saw their unnatural transformation.

"Werewolves!" I double winked my eyes to check if this is true!

"Oh My God! They exist!" I hold my mouth. I have to keep quiet so they will not notice me but it is too late they are rushing running towards my direction!

I closed my eyes and already accepted my fate!

"I'm sorry Resha and Rustan if I die early! This is the end! Because your older sister is being nosy in the lives of others!" My thoughts on saying my last words on earth.

But to my surprise the twin didn't hurt me, instead they were licking my cheeks and wagging their tails in front of me like a dog. My heart melted and started to touch their fur. I even patted their heads.

"Oh, thank you for not hurting me." I said and touched their head.The twins liked it and linked their tails around me.

I saw a man rushing to come to us with two bodyguards. They looked at us like they knew these two young werewolves currently cuddling to me. The bodyguards surrounded me.

"Maya, Matt, enough cuddling to her." the man called the names of these kids. The twin stopped from what they were doing and went to the bodyguards.

"Miss, I am Rosh Ladon the owner of this mall, I have a proposal for you to keep silent from this incident." Rosh started to convince me.

"What do you mean?" I asked him.

"We are hoping that you will not tell anyone about the twins and I will give you the money in exchange, just name your price." Rosh tells me in an arrogant way and signs his bodyguard to bring a suitcase full of money.

I feel offended by the gesture of Rosh. Are they going to buy me just to keep it quiet?

"No." I refuse. I still have my dignity.

He raised his left eyebrows like he was mocking me for my refusal.

"The twins didn't hurt me. They are my regular customers in the kid's center. I can't accept the money." I replied and gave them the backpacks of the twins.

"How can we be sure that you will not tell it to everyone." He asked me for assurance.

"I am one of the employees of this mall. You can ask your staff if I am a chit chatter. If you excuse me, my shift is still not finished. I need to go back now to my workplace." I told him and left.

It was a tiring day and full of surprises and turns of events in my life. When I returned home from my work. I saw my sister crying in front of our door waiting for me.

"Sis, Rustan got arrested by the police!" Resha informed me.

"Why!? What happened!?" I asked her.

"The police said that the name of Rustan is in the wanted list for using drugs!" Resha explained and cried.

"Drugs!? There is no way Rustan will use drugs!" I replied. I know my brother, he will never use drugs. He is a good student.

"Sis, what will we do now!?"Resha asked me in panic.

"We will go to the police station and ask about the case of Rustan." I told her.

When we were in the police station, I saw my brother detained in one of the detention rooms. I cried seeing my little brother experiencing this at a young age. He was only 17 years old.

"Sis, I didn't use drugs. I don't know why they are insisting that I am a user." Rustan said while crying.

"I know, you are my brother, I believe you. Rustan, listen to me, you have to be vigilant inside. I will do anything to get you out of here. You do not belong here." I told him to be tough.

Rustan nodded and wept.

"Sis, the police said that we need to get a lawyer first and pay 80 thousand pesos to get him bailed." Resha said.

"Where will you get money to pay a lawyer and to bail me here? That's a huge amount of money sis." Rustan asked me and started to doubt.

"Don't worry, I know someone who can give me money." I told him to rest assured.

"Really?" Resha asked me..

"I will loan to our company." I replied to stop their worries.

Why do tragedies happen to my family? First, my parents died in an accident. I had to stop my studies and started to work in order to survive and support my siblings financially. I never complained but why does misfortune come again to my brother? For God's sake he is still young to suffer in a prison. Is God abandoning us? Are we a bad people that deserve this? I started now to complain about our existence, why do we need to live if we are going to suffer.

These are my thoughts while

walking toward to the office of Mr. Rosh Ladon. From a distance, I already saw the bodyguards of Mr. Ladon.

"Do you have an appointment to Mr. Ladon?" the bodyguard asked me.

"No, but tell him I know the twins." I replied because this bodyguard is different from the bodyguard who saw us with the twin's incident.

The bodyguard when inside the office of Mr. Ladon to inform my presence.

"Let her come inside" I hear his voice from the office.

The bodyguard came back and let me come inside the office.

Is your offer still available? I asked him directly.

"How much do you want?" The first question he asked me.

"I need 150 thousand pesos for now." I replied because this is the amount I need to hire a lawyer and pay the bail.

"For now?" He sarcastically asked me.

"Yes, I don't know yet how much money I need." I replied and lowered my dignity. I know this is the only way to save my younger brother.
