Noah returned home a few hours later. He could smell Lola had left but her presence still lingered on his mind. He sat in the dark listening to the silence wondering what to do. He thought that he connected with Lola after he opened up about his family to her. He should have known that it was stupid to let his guard down. She already used the information against him a day later. He sighed and went upstairs to try and get some sleep.
