RORY’S POV

“Now everyone is talking about how much of a slut I am and about how I did a nasty kiss with someone who is supposed to be my platonic boyfriend in front of his girlfriend .” I concluded throwing my hands in the air.

“Well that’s just stupid. I really think they are jealous of you. That’s the only reason for them to do something like that. You got dared! It’s not like you simply decided to kiss Todd and even if you did what has that got to do with them?” She said with an angry shrug.

I hissed lowly in agreement and Marie agreed.

“They are just jealous because the way you and Todd kissed must have been speaking volumes.” She said and I looked in to the mirror to se her wriggling her eyebrows as she worked on my hair.

“Yes, I think so too.” One of the girls who was rounding up my pedicure said to me.

“Someone gave someone else a whole blow job in front of you all, that’s crazier than a kiss. So they are definitely jealous or you and bestie’s kiss was very hot!”

    RORY’S POV The walk home felt different. Lighter, somehow. My feet barely seemed to touch the ground, and a goofy, unshakeable smile was plastered across my face. It was as if the whole world had suddenly decided to sparkle just for me. The leaves on the trees, the bright sun, even the dusty road – everything looked a little bit brighter, a little bit more alive. I was still buzzing from Todd’s kiss, from his words, from the impossible reality that he loved me back.He had offered to take me home but I had insisted on walking because I wanted to.
