TODD’S POV

"Hi," Rory whispered, and the sound was like music. My mouth felt a little dry, and for a second, I forgot how to breathe. She was even more stunning than I could have imagined. The way the blue dress seemed to glow around her, the way her red hair framed her face, her eyes shining like emeralds. It was all just… wow.

"Wow," I managed to say, the word barely a croak. "You look… incredible, Rory. Absolutely incredible."

A faint blush dusted her cheeks, making her look even prettier. She tucked a stray curl behind her ear, a nervous habit I knew well. "You don't look so bad yourself, Prince Charming," she said, a small, shy smile playing on her lips. "That suit… it really suits you."

We both laughed a little. That suit as she said suits me. Rory is one to always pull up this funny jokes.

As the chuckles died down, we were left looking at one another. Rory smiled at me and her eyes looked from my head to toe in what looked like admiration to me.
