Chapter 43: Mouth to mouth

Karen didn't react to his presence physically although her heart had gotten itself involved in a race. How was he here again? he was supposed to be in Mexico. She recollected his familiar fragrance. Was it possible that had hadn't stopped using the same cologne? She had never paid attention to it but the way they tingled her nostrils brought it to her realization.

She pulled free from him, glaring at the shutter sounds that escaped the crowd in the silence that befell them. The flash from cameras that followed caused her to clench her fists by her side. She released her hold, it didn't matter what the people thought anyway.

Cole couldn't close his mouth. He felt like he was stuck in a dream and needed to wake up the soonest he could.

Karen looked so much different from the woman he had divorced. What happened to
