Once upon a time, the blue of the sky fell in love with the calm of the sea, the clouds in between whispered "Alas." Farisha is the only child to billionaire Alhaji Shehu, she is spoilt, brattish and untamed. Having watched her mother suffer neglect and pain from her ever-busy nonchalant father for so many years, she develops in her heart, an unnatural hatred for all men, despising them all with a great passion. Risha (Farisha) hence makes it her full-time business to frustrate, ruin and destroy any unlucky prey she happens to pounce on. An insatiable frustration struggles within her leading to immoral habits, ever priding herself as the iron lady with a heart of stone, she is immune to love (or at least so she thought). She holds this notion of herself until she meets the calm, charismatic, humble, heart stopping ruggedly handsome and rather too "nice-quiet” Farhan, an upcoming lawyer in her father's company. To her out most disgust and anger, she finds her searching heart greatly attracted to this enigmatic character. For making her feel this supposed weakness, she develops what could be termed an “unnatural hatred and obsession”. In her own crazy way, she sets out to punish him in a way she had never punished anyone. And what better way than to trap him than in what she considered, the worst fate any could endure, “MARRIAGE". Will she succeed in her ruthless plan or will her searching heart betray? Find out in this heart stopping saga of love, hate and intrigue. "Risha is not evil, she is just mostly up to no good."

Prologue
It was a dark evening with cool gentle breeze, the beauty of the sunless sky obscured by mocking rain clouds, the sounds of the dry leaves on the ground, complaining how unfair it was that they had been cast down from the trees and the response of their comrades, affirming to hang on and continue the struggle against the wind. The clouds had moved a bit permitting a little light from the full moon, that glowed into the distant lake below and the lake in turn returning the favour by reflecting the beauty of its heavenly counterpart. The deem glow casting a shadow upon the trees and flowers as the night grew darker; everything emitted such undeniable beauty and calm. She shuddered and inhaled deeply in the scent of the flowers, the lake, the sand and the imaginary scent of his person, closing her eyes she exhaled, as a beautiful tear drop saturated her chin finding its way to her slightly parted lips, raising her head a little, she stared at the beauty of the moon as the dark cl

Chapter one
The guards stood up abruptly, each trying to look serious and business like, they held themselves straight, while trying to adjust their facial expressions; occasionally, they looked at their uniform to ensure all was in order. Hard as they tried, on such occasions, they were nervous as hell, it wasn’t every day that the brat showed up, but when she did, she always gave everyone something to remember, or more appropriately, something one would rather wish to forget, but wouldn’t dare to, because of fear of a repeat. Walking up the few stairs nonchalantly yet majestically, ignoring everyone and their silly salutations, coming up the few steps to the door, she jerked her head upwards, tossing her hair stylishly in the process as she waited for the door man to get the door. She passed through ignoring them all as if they were non-existent.So far so good, it seemed today she was in a good mood, content simply with ignoring everyone. But they had all learnt from experie

The receptionist looked down and whispered in a very weak voice as he passed her, “I am sorry sir; I really tried to stop her”. He paid no attention to the receptionist and walked straight for his office. Flashing everyone a crooked smile, Risha turned proudly and walked into her father’s office. The receptionist hurried back to her seat wiping the sweat from her fore head with a handkerchief. “Risha what is wrong with you” Alhaji Shehu demanded, as soon as Risha walked in and closed the door behind her. “What?” she asked raising her hands innocently, “what have I done wrong?” She asked rolling her eyes.“Everything” he said weakly, slumping into his comfortable chair, his hands over his face. He stayed that way for almost a minute.“Uhm dad, am still here you know?”He brought his hands from his cheeks to rub at his temples, a tired look on his face. &l

Chapter three
Risha froze at her place, the voice and those words stimulating something deep inside her being. She turned and a slight involuntary gasped escaped her slightly parted lips, hardly audible to anyone but herself. It was the person her father had been speaking to. He was a young tall figure, with sharp serene eyes, lean figure, frank looking face and beautifully pointed male nose, not too build but not bad looking either, he had those exceptionally handsome face features calm piercing eyes, small thin lips and thick brows, that made ladies stare, just as she was doing now.She tried failingly to stop her heart from analysing the enigmatic wonder before her. He was smiling charmingly at her a few steps away; he had come to stand close to the secretary.Risha quickly looked away, blinked quickly as she tried to regain her rattled composure. She realized he was still speaking. “If Hanifah was rude to you, then I am apologizing on her behalf” he said smiling at her.

Chapter four
She tossed and turned restlessly in the giant-sized bed, it was around 2am and still she hadn’t had even a wink of sleep. “The idiot” she spoke, hissing to herself, “…the arrogant bastard, confident sycophant, the fool…” Ever since she left her father’s office earlier yesterday, her entire being had been boiling with anger and frustration, something she herself found hard to explain, this wasn’t just normal anger, it was anger decorated with a certain unnatural unexplainable hatred.“Aaaarh!!!” She scoffed in disgust remembering the confident smile on his lips, the piercing sharp eyes…the long dark brows…, she closed her eyes covering her face with her palms, rolling over, her beautiful locks making a pillow for her face. As angry as she was with the idiot, she was angrier at herself for how she reacted, for the way she had lost her control and composure.“It’s his entire fault&rd

Chapter Six
Farhan just stared at her, becoming more surprised at her behaviour, “Miss?” He prompted, “Excuse me are you ok?” He inquired standing up, when she didn’t reply, he went over to her, standing a reasonable distaste away. “Miss are you alright?”Then she turned slowly, her eyes blazing with super human anger, “I warned you, didn’t I? Told you would regret your actions.”“Sorry?” his face showed just how surprised he was.“No one talks to me like that and goes scot free, now I will show you the consequence for your actions”. Then she did the most unexpected thing. With surprising speed agility, she held her skimpy dress at the chest and tore it down to her breast; Farhan stepped back in shock, his little eyes getting bigger at the scene that was unfolding before his eyes.Using her hands, she scattered the items on the table, then she hit herself hard on the lip, it started to bleed immediately, using all her strength, she screamed pulling at her hair, there were footsteps hurrying towar

She stared at her reflection in the mirror, dressed in full bridal regalia, she was just absolutely stunning, her beautiful hair was well combed and stylishly made and covered in a transparent red veil that covered her from head to toe, her makeup was perfect, her eyes looked shaper with the eye liner, although very mildly, the blusher made her cheeks pink emphasising her beautiful cheek bones, her red lips looked redder with the lipstick on. Despite her blunt refusal to have any makeup, Aunty Fatima wasn’t having any of it, “This is a once in a life time experience, it is the day that is the best for us women, and you know the funny part? Good as it is, we pray for it to happen only once.” Aunty Fatima was a wife to her father’s friend and a bosom friend of her late mother. As she sat there staring at herself in the mirror and listening to voices in the hall, she had to admit to herself, this was really happening. Daddy kept true to his

He closed his eyes as he inhaled deeply in the fresh air and scent of the flowers that grew down below the balcony, it still felt like a dream to him, a crazy night mare that he could not wake up from.  After two days of the crowed, the excitement, it was a welcome change to have some peace and quiet. Opening his eyes, half hoping to find that it was all a dream and that he wasn’t standing here, in Alhaji shehu’s family house, with her as his…he couldn’t think further, such pain and anguish griped his entire being. He hadn’t seen her since yesterday at their reception and dinner party…right now, he couldn’t belief that they were in the same house, “alone…with him as her hus…” again, he closed his eyes to minimize the expression of pain that clouded his eyes.“O Allah, what has happened to me?” he whispered almost to himself.“Allow me to explain.”Startled, he turned abr

Puzzled she frowned automatically coming to stand on her feet “what is that?” she wondered confused, standing up, she walked towards the sound, strangely, it was coming from the wall, getting even more confused, she slipped her slippers on and walked to the wall, putting her ears against the wall she listened holding her breath. It was a beautiful sound she admitted to herself, slow, beautiful and melodious. She could not quite place her finger on the music, the more she heard it, the more she was captivated by it. Who could be making that sound she wondered, obviously, it was coming from t
