I could sense it, someone was following me, but after looking back and forth, I saw no one. Why should anyone be hunting me after everything I have been through? Haven't I been hunted enough? I am where I am today because I was too kind to my student, and because of that, it was rumored that I was having an affair with him. Some even had the guts to stand in as witnesses, to a story they made up. I lost my home, My husband filed for divorce the very day I was dismissed from school. He took my daughter away from me, and I had to flee for whatever is left of my dignity to be hidden.

The school made sure, that no one will employ me as a teacher anymore, my face was everywhere, but before I left that day, I remember Craig looking at me apologetically. I know if he could do something about it, he would, but there was nothing he could do.

I don't come out of the house, I have no reason to, I just buy my food and go back to the house, but anytime I must go out, I use the night. It has always been safe for me to go out at night, but this year, been the fifth year after my world was torn apart, I started feeling someone was watching me all the time.

I got to a trailer pack, and about to make a turn, when I hit my leg against a stone and fell to the ground. Now the hunter is so going to get me, I struggled to get off the floor, thinking the person had gotten to me, but when I looked back, no one was there, I was all alone again.

Was I loosing it? I couldn't tell. Just a while ago, I could have swore that someone was following me, I was running and the person was running after me. I became really confused, I straightened my jacket, and started walking home, but I still had reasons to look back every now and then.

I got to my apartment, raised the foot mat, and my key was still there, but I noticed that the door wasn't the way I left it. It was locked alright, but I only had to turn the key once, before it opened, when I am sure, I usually twist it twice, just to be double sure I had locked it properly.

Entering the house, I became super careful, looking above my shoulders every now and then. My feet moved quietly on the tiled ground, only to be met, by an unusual uneasiness within me. Not like I was expecting my room to be noisy or anything, but it was just too odd, and I kept feeling someone looking at me.

"Show yourself you coward! I screamed, then rushed to the kitchen to grab a knife, but before I could reach it, I was knocked down by an unknown figure, my head hit hard on the floor and I could feel my heart racing. I struggled to keep my eye open, but even my own eye failed me, just like the very me is failing me. The hand pulling me out of the kitchen was just too strong.

What do you want? I managed to ask, but my nose and mouth was covered with a handkerchief, which sent me to an unconscious state.

Maybe it is better to die, than to live like this.
