Half an hour later, Tammy and Jun arrived at Avery's mansion.

Avery welcomed them enthusiastically.

It was Avery's first time meeting Tiffany, so she had prepared an envelope filled with money for the child.

Making Elliot a victim most of the times by allowing Avery's friends disrespect him is to much. I'm struggling to read through this divorce phase.

..... and I see a bias in the way the author portrays the female characters for example, Tammy is rude and Avery doesn't know where to draw boundaries-she lets her friends disrespect Elliot.
