Chapter Twenty Nine: Just A Small Talk

“Hey, are you alright? I’m sorry if I didn’t give you heads-up before coming here.”

“I’m alright. And it’s fine. By the way, why are you here so early?” She feigned a smile so he to not notice her current emotion about the thing her mom made her a while ago.

“Is your mom, okay?” He questioned again with his face looking like he somehow understood the situation, but was still clueless about what was happening.

“She’s okay. We only had a little misunderstanding about something, but we’re good. Don’t worry.” She answered him with her uplifting smile to hide her true feelings while her eyes were also waiting for the reason why he went to their house unannounced.

“Um, I just want to see you again. I can’t able to sleep last night because I was thinking of you. Am I being so clingy?” He grinned, scratching his head sheepishly. He was straightforward, but handsomely. She beamed quietly, hiding her reaction to him. But she remembered the words of her mother, again, feeling guilty about it.
