The Constantino family ball is as grand as I had expected it to be. Grand ballroom, lavish decor, and expensive drinks. The guests are from the most elite corners of society.

I clutched my invitation as I neared the door and when requested, I handed it over to the security. He glanced through it for a moment.

"Go ahead," He smiled and let me through. I returned the smile as I walked in.

Soft classical music enveloped the room and I made my way over to the bar for a drink. The ache in my leg had gotten worse over the last couple of days. I've managed to overexert myself while working.

I glanced at the time. I wouldn't be able to make it to the end of the party.

"Miss Kensington," A voice called out. I didn't recognize the amazingly dressed woman but the smile on her face drew my attention and I smiled back.

"I'm Mrs. Constantino, I'm amazed you attended my party," she beamed.
