The carriage turned up the long drive of the Leven estate. I could see the grand building in the distance, it was stunning. The estate had large gardens that had awoken for the spring sunshine, with a team of gardeners tending to the beautiful flowers. “Not too shabby. “ Aria smirked. “Yes, it’s a very fine cage.” She shook her head and returned her focus to the grounds. “Woah!” The carriage came to a stop and a well dressed footman promptly opened the door, offering his hand. “My Lady.” I forced a smile, took his hand, and tried to exit the carriage as gracefully as possible. A middle aged man was bouncing down the steps towards me, followed by a meek middle aged woman. “Miss Felton!” He excitedly boomed. I tentatively stepped forwards, with Aria close behind me. He rushed towards me, and I curtseyed as he took my hand, kissing the back of it. “How was your journey? You must be exhausted.” “It was rather long.” “Yes, of course. You must eat!” He turned to the meek woman behind him, while still holding my hand. “Darling when is dinner? Can Miss Felton and her maid have something before?” The woman smiled and spoke gently. “Yes dear, I’m sure we can arrange something for our guests. But you are getting ahead of yourself, you haven’t even introduced us to the poor girl.” The man spun round to face me and released my hand. “Oh goodness! I do apologise Miss Felton, I’m Lord Leven and this is my beautiful wife, Lady Leven.” Lady Leven chuckled, and jokingly hit the Lord’s shoulder. “Shall we go in? As beautiful as the sunshine is, it can be stifling, and we wouldn’t want you to burn Miss Felton.” They seemed friendly, and far more welcoming than I was expecting. I smiled and nodded before following them both up the steps. Lady Leven addressed me over her shoulder, “your things arrived yesterday morning. I had the maids unpack them in one of my favourite rooms. But if it’s not to your liking we can move you both.” “Thank you my Lady.” She turned and smiled at me as she entered the house. It was even more beautiful inside, and felt so welcoming. It had grand stairs, wooden carvings, and freshly cut flowers on every surface. Lady Leven guided us to a sunny sitting room and gestured towards a maid. “Please prepare a cheese platter for our guests.” The maid curtseyed and quickly shuffled off. Lord Leven, who was still very animated, excitedly gestured towards two chairs. “Please, sit.” I smiled and awkwardly sank down into my seat. “Thank you. Lord and Lady Leven, this is my maid Aria.” They both smiled at her and Lady Leven spoke, “it’s a pleasure to meet you Aria, have you been with Miss Felton long?” Aria nodded a bit too eagerly, clearly she was as nervous as I was. “Yes my Lady, since she was twelve.” Lord Leven replied, “how lovely!” He turned to me with a gentle smile, “it’s so good to have someone you trust.” His eyes were kind, and his words told me that he understood how I felt and the situation I was in. I didn’t respond, but I allowed myself to relax. It must have been visible, because he nodded in acknowledgment, “excellent.” The maid re-entered the room with a wooden slab covered in cheese and grapes alongside sliced bread. She placed it down on the small table in front of us, and I saw Aria’s eyes light up. “Please, help yourself.” Said Lady Leven. Aria didn’t need convincing, she immediately helped herself and tried to stuff her face while maintaining her manners. I looked at the spread, but my stomach was still churning from the carriage ride. I felt obligated to have some, so I took a piece of cheese and fiddled with it before slowly sliding it into my mouth. It was delicious, but my mouth instantly filled with saliva, as if I was about to finally throw up. I chewed slowly and braced myself ready to swallow. Surprisingly, my stomach settled almost immediately and I felt my body relax further. Lord Leven looked at me, with a smile still plastered across his face. “Feeling better?” I smiled and nodded, and I could feel my mood lifting. Maybe I could be happy here, maybe I would be content. And who knows, maybe I would find a good man, who would treat me as an equal and not just his wife. Lady Leven relaxed in her chair. “Tell me Miss Felton, do you enjoy needle point?” *Sigh* Maybe not.- Josephine - I lay there feeling my chest rise and fall. I took a deep breath and attempted to slide the dildo inside of me. I was instantly met with resistance, but I didn’t push. I quickly realised that the experience was supposed to be pleasurable and I had to be in the right state of mind. I placed it next to me on the bed, closed my eyes and started kneading and squeezing at my breasts. It didn’t take long for my nipples to harden and a familiar warmth stirred inside of me. I gently pinched at my nipples, causing me to whimper as I relaxed into the moment. My legs began to tingle, so I gently scratched the top of my thighs and felt them quiver. I tried to remember how I felt in the bathtub this morning as I writhed in the water. Thoughts of Hugo came flooding back. I thought about his strong arms holding me as he looked at me with that devilish grin. I could imagine us back in the ballroom, but this time I pulled him close and wrapped my arms around his neck. I could feel t
- Josephine - I had begun to look forward to the Leven family dinners. Tristan babbling with his funny jokes and outrageous stories, Elodie filling us all in on the latest gossip, Lady Leven telling us which flowers were blooming next in her garden. It was routine, but a wonderful routine. Lord Leven sat at the top of the table, lovingly watching his family. The only person that stood out was Silas. Goodness knows what he was thinking about. He ate his meal quietly, and only really responded to his mother. Even with his misery, I still looked forward to this nightly ritual. I was having fun, but I was keen to be alone with my new present. “Shall we sit together? I fancy a game of cards” Lady Leven said, looking at us all eagerly. “I think I’m going to head to bed my Lady, Elodie and I had a long day in town.” I replied. “Oh.” She was clearly disappointed. “Another time Miss Felton.” “Yes my Lady.” I reassured her. “I’d love to play another time.” Elodie wasn’t a fool, she knew
- Josephine - “He danced with you?” Aria had asked that question repeatedly since I told her about the ball. “Yes Aria! Silas danced with me.” “Goodness.” She was clearly in deep thought as she prepared my bath. I didn’t care about Silas, or what he was trying to achieve. I couldn’t stop thinking about Hugo and his gentle touch. “Your bath is ready my Lady.” I walked over, dropped my robe and climbed inside. The warm water rose around my body as I lowered myself. I sighed deeply as I relaxed in the bath. “Thank you Aria.” She bowed dutifully and quietly left the room. The bath had been perfectly placed by the window. I could see the tops of the trees in the garden, and the sunlight cast rainbows in the water. It was heavenly. I began to wash myself, caressing my naked body. I couldn’t stop thinking about Hugo. How he had held me, and stroked my back with his thumb. I thought about his deep brown eyes, and how they were fixed on me. My nipples were hard and I could feel a
- Josephine - Elodie looked at me for a moment, then back at Hugo. Eventually, she took my hand and led me towards him. As soon as he saw I was walking over, his devilish grin reappeared. “Hugo.” Elodie addressed him. “This is Miss Felton. She is living with us as our Father’s ward.” I smiled so eagerly that my cheeks began to ache. He took my hand, and gently kissed it. “Hello Miss Felton, it’s a pleasure to meet you. May I have this dance?.” My heart leapt into my throat. I handed Elodie my glass, and she gave me wink before I turned and took Hugo’s hand. He led me onto the dance floor, before turning and slipping his hand around my waist. I could feel my face flushing red at his touch. The music swelled and we began moving across the floor. He was strong but gentle, and held me with the perfect amount of pressure. I so badly wanted to close the gap between us and press my body against his. “How are you finding the countryside Miss Felton? Quite different from the
- Josephine - I had been waiting years for this moment, my first ball. Aria was rushing around primping and pulling me, making sure I looked perfect. “Pearls my Lady?” I turned to see her nervously holding up two different earrings. “No, I think the sapphires to match my dress.” She nodded eagerly and returned to the jewellery box. Elodie had chosen perfectly. My dress had embroidered lace flowers sewn onto to pale blue satin, I felt so beautiful. Aria approached me and clumsily hooked the earrings into my ear. “Ouch!” “Oh my Lady, Josephine I’m so sorry.” I turned to face her and held her hands. “What’s wrong Aria? Why are you so nervous?” “I just want you to enjoy yourself. I’m worried that it won’t live up to your expectations, or it does, and you find a husband and forget about me.” I smiled and rubbed her cheek. “I will tell you everything when I return, and you never have to worry about that. No matter where I go next, you will always be by my side.” I leaned in
- Josephine - His hand was firm and strong, but holding mine so gently. It felt exciting to be swept up in his chaos, rushing through the house into the garden. As we stepped out into the sunlight he let go of my hand to shade his eyes and took several strides forward. He slipped his large coat off, exposing his vest and shirt, before draping it over a wall and turning to face me. “It’s a beautiful day Josephine. It’d be a shame to waste it cooped up in your room.” I smiled and nodded, and began to walk beside him down the path. “So, you paint?” He sounded genuinely interested. “Yes. I do love it, but I’m getting bored of painting scenery.” “Oh?” “Once you’ve painted one woodland, you’ve painted them all. Lord Leven’s hedge maze is the first bit of excitement I’ve had in a while.” He looked at me with his typical cheeky grin. “Painting. Excitement while painting.” He looked back and the path, still chuckling to himself. “I see. Well, we will have to do somethin
