Reminiscence 3

Office time was already over and I was waiting for James for half an hour outside the company building. It was raining heavily and I had no umbrella. Time passed on but there was no sight of him.

So I took my cell phone from my bag and dialed his number. He didn't respond. I dialed again but still, he didn't respond. Frustrated and frantic I dialed his number again and again until he finally picked it up.

Trying to calm down I said "Hello James where are you? You had promised to pick me up. It's raining outside and I don't.."

"For God's sake will you please listen to what I have to say? I am stuck in a meeting and I cannot come now. Your apartment is not that far. You can walk by yourself. Now please stop calling me or else I will forget who you are to me..." he yelled furiously and hung up.
