When a Gold Digger Angers Her ATM

Serena Porter hopped in her car and sped back to the villa not even half an hour later. She furiously kicked the door open and pointed at the screenshots that I had sent into the Porter family's group chat.

"Are you still a kid, Leon Gallagher?" she demanded indignantly. "Why are you getting my family involved in such an insignificant matter? And you dare to call yourself a man?"

Serena's junior, Felix Jenkins, trailed behind her, looking utterly smug as he watched the argument unfold. It was obvious that he had no idea how much trouble he was in.

"What's wrong? You're not willing to admit what you did? You're already flaunting your boy toy in front of me. Why are you scared of people looking at the screenshot of the condoms order?" I replied lightly, rendering Serena speechless.

Serena bit her lip when she realized that she couldn't win the argument. She lunged at me and tried to snatch my phone out of my hands.

"Stop getting jealous over everything! Nothing is going on between Felix and me. We're innocent! Explain the situation to my family right now. How do you expect me to show my face around them from now on?"

I scoffed and pushed my chair back, rising to my feet.

Serena's grabby hands pathetically closed around thin air.

I sent the screenshot of Felix's post into both her classmates and work group chat right before her eyes. I also sent a video that I had prepared beforehand.

"Let's get some other opinions since you're insisting that you're innocent. I'm curious to find out whether other people think that it's normal for someone to give their colleague condoms as a present.

"Oh, that's right. I've frozen the bank card that's in your possession. The consequences of freezing a black card are quite severe. I suggest that you come clean about your infidelity as soon as possible. You won't have time to regret your decisions once the proof is on the table."

Serena was stunned. She knew that I cherished her like a precious treasure ever since we got married five years ago. She never could have imagined that I would become so ruthless after she crossed my boundaries.

She hastily scrambled to her feet after she snapped back to her senses. Her eyes were bloodshot when she exclaimed, "You've crossed the line, Leon! Why are you overthinking this when I'm just giving Felix a present? You want to know whether I betrayed you? Fine! I'll prove my innocence to you!"

Tears streamed down Serena's face. She gritted her teeth and pulled out her phone before starting a group video call in her work group chat.

"I want you to issue a public apology if it turns out that I didn't cheat on you, Leon."

I barked out an indignant laugh.

She looked so pitiful. Those who didn't know what was going on might even mistakenly assume that I was the one who had cheated on her.
