“A bit too much?” Beverly asked, hoping for an honest answer Ravel accessed the flowery blue gown on her, that stopped above her knee length, a black sandals and the tote knitted bag crossed over her shoulder. “You look Okay to me..”

Beverly McCartney stared at reflection for a moment; her hair was packed up in loose updo, her freckles prominently showcasing her beauty as so did the light make up she had to apply because of Ravel's nagging.“You'll be fine, Just be yourself”

“I know, I know” she picked her phone “I'm just nervous you know, what if there see me and don't trust me to even handle Martha?”

“I doubt, right now you're just too good looking to be sent back home” she smiled

“Right,. I'll be off, kiss mom for me when she eventually wakes up from her beauty sleep” she teased and walked away while waving a final goodbye.

“Good luck!!” Ravel yelled across the room. Straight to the front door, Beverly swung it opened and out right after.

After a while of being asked few questions by guards who wore black suit and black sunglasses on their stern look, she was directed straight to the mansion, were she wowed and was amused by such beauty. Her eyes scanned the three story building Infront of her and a sigh of exhaustion escaped through her slightly parted mouth, One would say a dream Castle was what Beverly stood Infront of Like a princess awaiting her night in a shining armor to majestically walk right through the entrance. The beautiful paintings and extravagant decorations tripled the warm feeling inside her.

Through the doors, she was directed to a room by different maids who would walk pass her by chance, bit by bit she felt nervous, her heart began to hammer against her chest. As she walked in studied her surrounding for a moment, amazed by the thin gold colour hung on the single window, a single couch at the end of the room and three more at the middle, behind the three couch stood an office table and a chair, it was beautiful.

“You must Be Beverly... Beverly McCartney” a feminine uttered behind, flinching, Beverly turned around to see a slender curvy woman, she looked as though she was in her Early thirties, her smile was warm alongside her make up face and Her hair was packed in a perfect bun.

“Oh sorry, It wasn't my intention to startle you..” she giggled softly, as her hand covered her lips.

“It's Okay, I was just lost in thought I guess” she formed a small smile “You have a lovely place ma'am”

“Oh thank you, and please, call me Vivienne” she walked to one of the three couch and sat down on “Have a sit.” She reckoned

“Thank you ma—Vivienne”

“It's my pleasure to meet, um, this going to take a while but I hope you'd have the patience to wait” she said softly, her soft blue eyes starring at her

“Wait?” she asked, confused.

“Yes, I'm not the only one who's seeing darling, all family member will be here, ask their various question. We take granny mia very seriously, I hope you don't mind?” she grinned beautifully.

“Oh, not at all..” Beverly said.

“Good, if they're Okay with you, then whom am I to deny you” she smiled “You already look so friendly” she winked and Beverly chuckled.

“Thank you..”

“You're welcome, so while we wait, what would you like to drink?”

“I'm okay, don't worry about that” declined politely, Beverly kept her smile steady.

“I don't take no for an answer Young lady, red wine will do?, Of course no alcohol”

“Sure, why not” she said.

“I'll be right back then..” she got up and walked away, swaying her hips, the sound of her heels clicking against the tiles was all Beverly could hear. Strangely, she felt calm and happy, and prayed everyone would be as nice as Vivienne was. It made her feel relaxed.

After a while, Vivienne returned with a bottle of red wine and two champagne translucent glass cup. She poured a little for Beverly and while Beverly took hers quietly, Vivienne just watched with a smile. “You're a beautiful young woman you know” she suddenly said out of the blue

“Well, um thank you” she managed to answer even though it came out as a shock, even though she thought of it as lies too. “You look beautiful ma'am”

“Oh I get that alot, even though I'm just in my late thirties and mother of two” she smiled at Beverly suddenly surprised face. Beverly's mouth fell opened to the point she didn't realize it.

“Really!?, That's actually surprising, you look so young!?” she admitted

“Well, as the saying goes The rich barely gets old, not when money is all there is darling” she laughed to her joke but somehow Beverly felt offended and tried her possible best not to show it out.

“Oh, well, tha-that's nice”

Realizing what the woman had just Said, she cleared her throat immediately and said “Don't take it the wrong way, I didn't mean to say it like that, damn, here I go again annoying people with my petty jokes..”

“No it's okay, I totally understand” she honestly said.

“I like you already” she giggled “You know i—” stopped mid air, Vivienne turned to the door being gingerly swung opened and immediately the maid got in and rushed to Vivienne whispered something into her ears “Oh okay, send him in..” she told her and the maid scurried out immediately.

“I-is Something wrong ma'am, I mean Vivienne”

“Not really, it's just perfect..”

After a minute or so The latched door Suddenly opened, and as Beverly turned to the direction shock immediately covered her face the second their eyes locked. The man who came in sight was none other than the man she had made out with.
