تسجيل الدخولHello readers! This book is very special to me. I've been writing novels since I was 9 years old and started publishing my work on various platforms, with a few instances of having a different variant of my pen name.
This book, however, holds a special place in my heart as this is the second version of my very first book, which I first wrote when I was 9 and published the finished first edition when I was 12.
This isn't a perfect book; it might even be a bit cliché, but it holds my passion.
I hope you guys enjoy it and forgive me for imperfections.
P.S. The chapter order of this book will soon be fixed. Thank you for your understanding.
HAPPPY READING, EVERYONE!
NATHAN'S POV"Good morning, Mom and Dad. Is Rosie awake?" I asked, noticing she wasn’t at the table with us."Oh, darling, don’t you know? I thought she told you—Athan and Daniel are picking her up every day from now on," Mom answered casually."Oh... right. Yeah, she mentioned it," I replied, forcing a smile.Damn. I thought since we had cleared things up yesterday, everything would go back to normal, and she’d be riding with me again. Guess I was wrong."Son, she’s your fiancée. That makes her your responsibility," Dad said sternly. "Can’t you at least go to school with her? Do you dislike her so much that she has to rely on her friends instead?"I looked down, guilt twisting inside me. "No, Dad... I mean, yeah, before, I did hate her, but we’re fine now. Don’t worry—I’ll talk to her," I assured him, trying to mask my frustration."You better," he sa
ROSELYN’S POVWe stayed like that—me crying, repeating over and over that he should believe me while he held me close.Ever since that incident, my nightmares have only gotten worse. I just want them to stop, and somehow, I feel like if he believed me, they would. Or maybe I just want him to believe me because all I’ve ever asked for is a little trust. But what chance do I have against his beautiful girlfriend, right?"It's fine. I can't tell you I believe you because, honestly, Olivia is my girl, and no matter what, I’ll believe her. But because of everything that’s happened, I’m confused. So let’s just forget about it and be civil. What do you think?" he said softly, still holding me.And just like that, I snapped out of it. I pulled away from him.How could I be so stupid? Of course, he’d believe her—she’s his girlfriend, for goodness’ sake!Taking a deep b

Blag. Blag. Blag.I woke up to loud knocks on my door.“Better wake up and get down here for breakfast with that guy of yours before I knock this door out, Rosie!” Nathan shouted, banging on the door as if there was no tomorrow.Right… Everything that happened yesterday rushed back to me. I remember crying my eyes out and holding onto Danny, not wanting him to leave my side. And now, he was still here beside me in my bed, sleeping.“I’ll be down,” I replied weakly.I was tired. Tired of trying so hard.I’d go through the marriage like we planned, but I was done playing the angel. Nathan didn’t like me. He’d made that very clear. If he couldn’t accept me, then I wouldn’t force myself on him. From the start, I hated the idea of falling in love. I was afraid of it. But I fell for him anyway, and he loved someone else. It was time to stop being a
NATHAN'S POVEverything was happening too fast, and I'm surprised I’m not experiencing whiplash. One minute, I was at a restaurant, enjoying a joyful evening with Rosie. The next, I was furious over her actions toward my girl. As soon as I stepped into our house, I was met with pointed looks from my parents."Rosie just ran to her room without even acknowledging us. What did you do, son?" My father’s authoritative voice cut through the tension, and I couldn’t help but feel a sting. Why was it automatically my fault? Hadn’t he considered that it might have been Rosie's fault?"I have nothing to..." I didn’t get to finish my sentence when the front door slammed open, revealing an anxious-looking Daniel. He had a crease on his forehead, and his breathing was heavy as he rushed straight toward Rosie's room."What’s happening, son?" my mom asked, her voice tight with concern as she watched Dani
NATHAN'S POVI jolted awake, my chest heavy with unease. For days now, I had been hearing soft cries, moans, and even agonising screams in the middle of the night. At first, I thought I was imagining it, but it kept happening. The eerie sounds echoed through the house, vanishing the moment I woke up. It felt as if a ghost had taken residence in our home.Sitting on my bed, I ran a hand through my hair, trying to steady my nerves. I listened closely, waiting to hear the sounds again. After a minute of silence, I sighed and decided to go downstairs for some water. It had also been days since she became cold—so cold I could compare her to ice. Rosie. She barely spoke to me, and when she did, it was only to answer my questions in the shortest way possible.Since that day, the incident remained a mystery to our family, but we let it go, just as Athan wished. But Rosie's treatment toward me had changed. Was it so wrong for me to ask her to apologise to my girlfriend for mistreating her? It
