LOGINPOV: Lyra.
The cabin fell quiet after the others left for their run.
I sat alone on the porch, staring at the forest where Colt had disappeared with Ravenna. Becca had gone inside to make tea, leaving me with my thoughts.
My phone buzzed.
It was my lawyer.
"Luna Lyra, I have uncovered concerning information regarding your mate bond. Please call me when you are alone."
My heart raced. I stepped off the porch and walked deep into the trees. Far enough that no one could hear.
I dialed.
The lawyer's voice was grave. "I reviewed the paperwork you signed with the pack council five years ago. There are irregularities."
"Explain," I said.
"Your mating ceremony contract was altered. The original documents show you were supposed to have equal rights to pack assets. But the version you signed was different. Your name was removed from shared ownership."
I felt the world tilt. "Who changed it?"
"I traced the digital signatures. The modifications came from two sources. Colt's personal server. And Ravenna's father."
My blood went cold.
"Ravenna's father?"
"He is a pack elder. He had access. Together, they stripped you of everything. Any claim to land. Any claim to assets. If you separate from Colt, you walk away with nothing."
I closed my eyes.
I had mortgaged my parents' house for this pack. I had bled for this pack. I had given everything.
And they had stolen it all from me.
"Thank you," I whispered.
"This is not all," the lawyer said. "I found evidence that Ravenna has been filing official complaints against you. For years. She has documented every conflict. Every argument. She has been building a case to have you removed as Luna."
"How?"
"She claims you are unstable. Emotionally unfit. She has testimonies from Rake and Liliana backing her claims. If the council believes them, they could revoke your Luna title before your separation is final."
I leaned against a tree. My legs were weak.
Ravenna had been planning this for years. She never wanted to steal Colt. She wanted to destroy me.
"I need proof," I said. "Evidence that she lied."
"I am working on it. But this will take time. And money."
"How much?"
"A significant amount. Your accounts are frozen, remember? You have no access to pack funds."
I thought of my parents. They had given me everything. I had given them nothing.
"Find a way," I said. "I don't care what it takes."
The call ended.
I stared at the sky through the canopy of leaves. The sun was warm. I felt nothing.
---
I walked back to the cabin.
The others had returned. I could hear them laughing inside. Colt's voice was loud, cheerful.
I pushed open the door.
Ravenna was draped over him on the couch. Her legs were across his lap. Her head was on his shoulder. His arm was around her.
She smiled at me.
"Lyra! There you are. We were worried."
I walked past them without a word.
Ravenna sat up. "Where are you going?"
"To pack my things."
Colt stood up. He followed me into the bedroom.
"What is wrong with you now?" he demanded.
I turned to face him.
Ravenna's father altered my mating contract. You stripped me of every asset I contributed to. You let her build a case to have me removed. And you did nothing."
Colt's face went pale. His jaw tightened.
"How did you find out?"
"So it is true."
He stepped closer, lowering his voice. "Lyra, listen to me. That was business. Ravenna's father was handling the paperwork. I didn't know—"
"You did not know?" I laughed. "You signed the papers. You watched me mortgage my parents' house. You watched me bleed for this pack. And you let them take everything from me."
"Ravenna had nothing to do with—"
"Do not say her name."
I grabbed my bag and started throwing clothes into it.
Colt's hand clamped down on my wrist. He spun me around, pulling me against his chest. His face was inches from mine. His breath was hot on my lips.
"You are not leaving," he growled.
"Let me go."
"Lyra—"
I shoved him back.
His chest hit the wall. He stared at me, eyes wide, stunned. No Omega had ever dared to shove him.
"I am done," I said. "Do you understand? Done. I will file for my divorce. I will expose your lies. And I will walk away from this pack with my head held high."
Colt's face shifted. The anger faded. Something else flickered in his eyes. Fear.
"Lyra. Please."
I stopped.
He had never said please.
"Just give me one month," he said. "One month to prove I can change. I will make it right. All of it."
He reached for my hand. I pulled away.
"I do not want your promise," I said. "I want my life back."
I walked out of the bedroom.
Ravenna was waiting in the hallway. Her eyes were cold.
"Leaving so soon?" she asked.
I stopped in front of her. I looked at her face—the face I had hated for five years.
"You think you won," I said. "But you did not. I am leaving because I want to. Not because you drove me out."
Ravenna's smile faltered.
"I am stronger than you will ever understand. And one day, you will regret every single thing you did to me."
I walked past her.

POV: LyraKael grabbed my arm.I spun and drove my fist into his throat. He staggered back with a gasp. His warriors lunged. Jaden intercepted one. Vara blocked another. The great hall erupted.I did not shift.I did not need to.I caught the first warrior by the collar and threw him into the wall. The second came at me with a blade. I caught his wrist and twisted until I heard the bone crack. He screamed and dropped.Kael was on his knees with his hand pressed to his throat."Stop," he choked. The fighting paused.I stood over him with my hands still raised and my eyes burning silver."You touched me."He looked up at me."I was trying to get your attention.""You could have said my name."He coughed."I did. You did not hear me."---I stared at him.The hall was silent. The warriors on both sides stood frozen with their weapons raised and their eyes fixed on us.I lowered my hands."Everyone out."They stared at me."Now."They filed out of the hall.Jaden was the last to leave. POV: LyraKael stood across from me in the center of the battlefield. His sword was drawn. His eyes were cold. His warriors formed a circle around us.The fighting had stopped. The Bloodmoon pack had retreated to the edges of the field. My warriors held their positions. The wounded moaned in the grass. The dead lay where they had fallen."You wanted this," I said.Kael smiled."I did."He circled me slowly."You wanted to prove yourself. You wanted to show the packs that you are worthy of the crown. You wanted to earn their loyalty."I turned with him."And you wanted to destroy me."He nodded."I did."He stopped."Because you are everything I hate. You are a northern queen who came south and claimed what was not yours. You are a wolf who wears a crown she did not earn. You are a leader who thinks she can unite the packs with words and smiles and empty promises."I met his eyes."And you are a wolf who would rather fight than build. A wolf who would rather destroy than create. A wolf
POV: LyraThe messenger arrived at dawn.He rode through the camp gates on a horse that was foaming at the mouth and trembling with exhaustion. He dismounted before the animal had fully stopped and stumbled toward the great hall with a scroll clutched in his hand.I was already awake.I had been awake for hours. The fire in my tent had burned down to embers and the sky outside was still dark when I heard the hooves. I pulled on my boots and stepped outside just as the messenger reached the steps. He dropped to his knees."High Alpha."I took the scroll from his hand."Eat. Rest. We will speak after."He nodded and collapsed against the stone.---I broke the seal and read.High Alpha Lyra,The Bloodmoon pack has declared war. They have gathered warriors from across the southern territories. They have sworn to destroy the alliance and crown their own High Alpha. They march north. They will reach the border in two weeks. We need you.Alpha Marcus, Southern Territories---I read it twic
POV: LyraThe challenge came at midday.I was training with Vara in the center of the camp when a wolf stepped out of the crowd and threw a blade at my feet. The blade stuck in the dirt. The camp went silent.I looked up.He was tall. Broad. His arms were covered in scars and his eyes were cold and hard. He wore the mark of the Bloodmoon pack on his chest."My name is Torin," he said.I straightened."I know who you are."He smiled. It was not a kind smile."You have been here for two weeks. You have trained with our warriors. You have eaten at our tables. You have slept under our roofs."I said nothing."But you are not one of us. You are not Bloodmoon. You are not a southern wolf. You are a northern queen who thinks she can walk into our camp and claim our loyalty."I met his eyes."I have not claimed anything."He laughed."You have claimed everything. You have claimed our Alpha's ear. You have claimed our warriors' respect. You have claimed a place at our fires."He stepped closer
POV: LyraThe blade came within an inch of my throat.I caught the wrist and twisted. The knife clattered to the stone floor. I drove my elbow into the attacker's chest and heard the breath leave their lungs in a rush. They hit the ground hard.I pinned them with my knee and looked down at their face.Vara.She stared up at me with wide eyes and blood on her lip."You," I said. She did not struggle."I had to know."I pressed my knee harder into her chest."Know what?"She met my eyes."If you could be killed."---I held her there for a long moment. The camp was silent. The warriors who had been watching from the shadows stepped forward. Jaden burst out of his tent with his sword drawn and his eyes wild."Lyra—""I am fine."He stopped.Vara did not look away from me."You left your flank open," she said. "You have been here for a week and you still do not know the camp. You still do not know who watches you. You still do not know who wants you dead."I released her.She sat up slowl
POV: LyraI woke to the sound of blades. The clash of steel on steel rang through the camp, sharp and relentless. I was on my feet before my eyes fully opened, hand reaching for the knife beneath my pillow.Old habits.I pulled on my boots and stepped out of the tent. The camp was alive.Warriors trained in the center of the valley, their movements precise and brutal. No wasted motion. No hesitation. A woman with a scar across her face disarmed a man twice her size and had him on his back in the dirt before he could blink. She looked up.Our eyes met.She did not bow.I held her gaze and said nothing.---Alpha Kael appeared beside me with a cup of something steaming in his hand. He offered it to me without a word.I took it.The liquid was bitter and hot and it burned going down. I did not flinch."You are up early," he said."I am up when I need to be."He nodded slowly."Good."We stood in silence for a moment, watching the warriors train."Your wolves are skilled," I said."They h
