Chapter 835

Edmund recalled how, three hours ago, when he had confronted Sharon, her expression and tone had already seemed off. It had taken her quite a while to open the door, yet her clothes were neatly put on.

He figured that she must have been planning her escape back then. However, he hadn't noticed a thing. If only he had acted sooner and restrained her at the time, she wouldn't have had the chance to slip away now!

Edmund immediately called Elias to tell him about what had happened. After hearing that, Elias clenched his fists.

He inwardly swore. It seemed that Sharon had escaped. He wondered who had warned her. Was it her accomplices?

"Don't worry about Sharon. I'll take care of it," Edmund said. "Your only job is to keep your sister alive. No matter what it takes, make sure she survives!"
