Chapter 7

Natalie was positive Natasha was trying to spend as much of the Grayson family's money as she could before the divorce. She was so shameless!

Natalie stormed over to Natasha. The latter was busy picking out a unit she liked when she saw a figure stomp over to her, looking fierce.

Natasha looked up to see Natalie before her. She'd seen a photo of Natalie in Joshua's room before, so she recognized her. In the photo, Natalie had been wearing a white dress and smiling innocently. She was far from the haughty, furious woman she was now.

"Do you need anything from me?" Natasha asked calmly. She and Joshua were already getting divorced, and it wasn't like she was shamelessly clinging to him. What would Natalie want from her?

Natalie did an immediate 180. She smiled at Natasha and said, "Hi! I'm Natalie Lovelace. You should know who I am, right?"

Now that she, the real deal, was back, she wanted to see how long Natasha could stick around!

Natasha raised an eyebrow. "Yeah. So?"

She wanted to get this over with. She hated it when people beat around the bush.

Natalie couldn't be here to get her attention, right? Did she have nothing better to do?

"You know that Grandpa Philip's still gravely ill, right? He's all alone without anyone to care for him …" Natalie started blaming Natasha. Her gaze was woeful as she looked at Natasha; she indirectly reprimanded Natasha for not caring for Philip.

"While he's all alone, here you are, splurging. It's not like the Grayson family's money grows on trees, you know." Natalie acted like she was doing this for the Grayson family's benefit.

At the same time, she casually flipped through the brochure on the table. When she saw the prices of the homes, she secretly gasped.

Natasha smiled and gave Natalie a meaningful look when she heard this. As expected of the woman who had Joshua's heart—her thoughts were exactly like his!

It wasn't like Philip would die without her care!

When Natalie saw Natasha looking at her quietly without rebuking her, she grew even more confident that Natasha was feeling guilty. She dropped the kind act, and her tone became sharper.

"You've enjoyed everything the Grayson family has had to offer for the past three years without contributing anything. Not only did you not earn a cent for the Grayson family, but you're even trying to take their money now that you and Josh are getting divorced.

"This is a wonderful scheme you've come up with!" Natalie snarled.

Natasha sneered at her words. "Me, coming up with this scheme? I married Joshua when he and the Grayson family were at their lowest. I've taken care of everyone in the Grayson family over the past three years, and I even helped out at the company.

"The current Joshua you see wouldn't even exist without me!"

When Natasha first met Joshua, the Grayson family had been on the brink of bankruptcy. She'd ignored her parents' objections to marry him.

Over the past three years, she'd helped to bring Grayson Corporation back to life, and she'd taken care of every member of the Grayson family with her heart and soul. Why had she done these things? To make up for everything she owed that person, of course!

Yet now, someone was saying she'd done it for the Grayson family's money.

It didn't even mean anything to her. Instead, Natalie was the one who thought the world of the Grayson family.

Natalie obviously didn't believe her. "You? Helping out at the company? Stop thinking so highly of yourself. Even if you did help the Grayson family, that's in the past now. We can leave it where it belongs.

"All I know is that you're in the wrong for spending the Grayson family's money like this. You're an ingrate for neglecting Grandpa Philip while he's sick. You haven't even bothered to check on him!" she said loudly.

Natasha laughed in exasperation. "Well, if you're such a wonderful person, why aren't you caring for him? Why have you followed me here instead?"
