Chapter 6

Natalie knew Joshua had already gotten married, and his wife, Natasha, had been by his side for the past three years. It was just that Natalie couldn't ask about it if Joshua didn't bring it up.

She had no choice but to find out more from the maids. She wanted to see how similar she and Natasha looked.

Gina didn't dare to offend the love of Joshua's life. She hurriedly said, "Mrs. Grayson doesn't usually take photos. There's nothing to worry about, though. She looks like you but isn't as pretty as you are."

She smiled sycophantically. She figured her position in the Grayson family would be stronger if she could get into Natalie's good books.

Natalie smiled shyly at Gina's words, but the latter could tell the former loved her flattery.

It made sense. How could a substitute compare to the real deal?

Natalie supposed Natasha couldn't be ugly if the latter looked like her. She was a beauty, after all.

"Well, I guess Ms. Sullivan's also gorgeous." Natalie "generously" accepted Gina's compliment. "I've just returned from abroad, and there are some things that this apartment is missing. Why don't you take me shopping tomorrow?

"Also, could you throw this shawl away?" Natalie blinked her innocent, clear eyes. But if one looked closely, one would see the disgust in them.

The following morning, Natalie was taken to a luxury goods store at a mall. She got out of the Rolls-Royce in a good mood.

Joshua had given her a hefty sum to spend. She wanted to use it to equip herself and the apartment well.

She'd long since wanted to head to this luxury goods store but couldn't bring herself to do it because of the exorbitant prices.

Before she entered the store, an exquisite, luxuriously dressed figure breezed past her.

The store clerks hurried to the woman when they saw her. "Welcome, Ms. Sullivan! We have plenty of new items now, and we're sure you'll find something you like."

Natasha nodded and started browsing the items nonchalantly. The store clerks followed her respectfully. None of them seemed to notice there was someone else standing at the entrance.

Natalie suppressed the rage that had surged at being ignored. Her eyes darkened as she scrutinized Natasha.

Who was it? Who could be affluent enough to have all the store clerks hover around her?

This was a luxury goods store owned by a globally-renowned designer. Customers who weren't A-grade members couldn't buy any of the things in the store. The store clerks wouldn't be so sycophantic even when faced with S-grade members.

Natalie took a closer look at Natasha. She scanned Natasha's face and realized it was familiar. It reminded Natalie of her own face!

A bold thought formed in her mind. She turned to Gina and asked, "Is that Ms. Sullivan?"

Gina had already seen Natasha. She couldn't blatantly lie to Natalie, so she nodded. "Yes, Ms. Lovelace. That is her."

Natalie narrowed her eyes. "Is she usually such a big spender?"

Didn't she care about the Grayson family's well-being?

Natasha and Joshua were about to divorce, and she would end up getting kicked out of the Grayson family. But she was still Joshua's wife at this moment.

Philip was gravely ill, yet Natasha wasn't at his bedside and caring for him. Instead, she was in a luxury goods store and spending as much as she wanted.

When Gina saw the odd look on Natalie's face, she said sycophantically, "Yes, she is. Mr. Grayson Senior always tells us not to splurge, but Ms. Sullivan never listens. Still, she's the lady of the household, and it's not up to us maids to say anything."

This infuriated Natalie even more. The fact that all those store clerks were hovering around Natasha made it clear that she'd spent tons here!

A substitute was frivolously spending the Grayson family's money—money that would be Natalie's in the future. This was equivalent to Natasha spending Natalie's money.

Natalie had to see how much of the Grayson family's money Natasha could spend in a day!

Natasha was in a good mood after buying several new releases from the luxury goods store. The next step in her plan was to check out the real estate. She'd heard from Zack the other day that the houses at Imperial Heights were pretty good, so she drove there from the mall.

Natalie sat in the Rolls-Royce and watched as Natasha drove past her in a Maybach. She gritted her teeth and forced out, "Follow her closely."

How dare Natasha drive such a good car!

The Rolls-Royce followed the Maybach and slowed down as the Maybach did. Natalie looked up to see Imperial Height's sales office.

She knew the houses here cost a fortune and almost blacked out from the shock.
