Chapter 04

“AAAHHH!” Argo screamed in pain when his body was crushed by Tiffany's body.

He had just arrived in the Alexanders' front yard to discuss his business with Edward.

Suddenly, Tiffany made him fall because of his body.

It made Tiffany's plan to commit suicide not go well. Because Argo's body had saved her.

“Oh, my God!” Tiffany was immediately shocked when she realized she had fallen on Argo's body.

Alexander's family immediately came outside when they heard Argo's screams.

Argo then fainted because he hit his head on the page.

This also made Alexander's family immediately shocked to see him. They then immediately approached Argo.

“Tiffany, what exactly have you done to my best friend? Did you just kill him like what your father did to my father?” Edward asked with a sharp look.

“No, Edward, I didn't kill Argo. I fell from above and my body accidentally hit his body.”

“That's enough! This is not the right time to talk. Edward, Rose, now you two bring Argo in!” Mrs. Jane ordered.

“Fine, Mom,” replied Edward. “Come on, help me, Rose!”

Edward and Rosalie then took Argo to Edward's room.

“You, Tiffany! Come with me now!”

While Mrs. Jane, suddenly pulled Tiffany's hand very roughly.

“Ah! It hurts, Mommy!” Tiffany immediately moaned in pain.

Mrs. Jane pulled Tiffany into Tiffany's new room. After that, pushed Tiffany roughly to the floor and her head hit the cupboard.

The behavior of her mother-in-law, who was very rude and cruel, immediately brought tears to Tiffany's eyes.

“Now you tell me! What happened? Why did you fall from this room and hit Argo's body?” snapped Mrs. Jane.

Tiffany was silent with tears flowing harder. She was really at a loss as to how to answer.

Of course, Tiffany will not answer honestly. Because that would make Alexander's family even more excessively insulting to her.

“I accidentally slipped off the balcony, Mom," sobbed Tiffany.”

Tiffany finally decided to lie.

“You stupid woman! You really can't take care of your womb! If there wasn't Argo, maybe my grandchild would have died because of that carelessness of yours!”

Mrs. Jane then rang the bell. Shortly after that, two waiters came straight away.

“Waiters, prepare a room downstairs for Tiffany! After the room is ready, immediately invite Tiffany to rest there! Because that room will be her new room.”

“Yes Mrs. Jane,” replied the two waiters together. After that, they immediately went to carry out the order.

“I deliberately moved you from this room to the lower room, because I don't want you to do any more carelessness that will harm my grandchild. Of course, I'm very worried about my grandchild.”

Mrs. Jane then left by slamming the door.

Tiffany still felt very disillusioned with this painful reality that she had to accept.

Her husband and mother-in-law who loved her very much have now turned into people who hate her.

They were only worried about the condition of the child she was carrying and were not at all worried about Tiffany's condition.

However, shortly after that, Tiffany stopped crying. Suddenly the spirit in her came.

Only then did Tiffany realize, she had just become a very evil mother.

She tries to end her life while still pregnant, which is of course an evil deed because it will make her child die too.

“I can't be weak, I can't just give up,” said Tiffany in her heart. “I have to fight for my father and also my child. I had to fight to make Alexander's family aware that my father was not who they said they were.

I also don't want them to separate me from my child one day. Of course, they will do various ways so that custody of my child will fall into Edward's hands.”

Now Tiffany is determined in herself that she will bring Alexander's family to their knees to apologize to her, for the cruelty they have done to her and her family.

***

The clock shows 08.00 PM.

Argo had just woken up from fainting in Edward's room.

“Argo, thank goodness you've come to your senses. How are you?” asked Edward, who had been waiting for Argo to wake up, with his family.

Argo took a deep breath for a moment while touching his head which felt a little sore.

“I'm fine. Thank you for helping me by bringing me to this room,” Argo replied while changing his position to sit. “Then, what about the condition of Tiffany and your child's womb? Are they all right?”

“Yes, they are fine.”

“In that case, thank God.”

“I'm sorry, Argo, because Tiffany's carelessness slipped from the balcony, causing her to fall on your body.”

“It's okay, Edward, it wasn't Tiffany's fault, it was all an accident. It's the same as what happened to Mr. Dave. He died by pure accident, not by Mr. Vladimir.”

Unlike the Alexander family, Argo didn't think that Mr. Dave's death was caused by Mr. Vladimir.

He must have known about the Alexander family hating the Granger family.

He also knows that the Alexander family has turned cruel to the Granger family, especially to Tiffany.

However, Argo had a much wiser mind than the Alexander family.

“What do you mean by saying that, Argo?” asked Rosalie.

“I'm telling the truth, Rose. You all shouldn't hate the Granger family and treat them cruelly. You all have to accept the fact, that Mr. Dave did die of pure accident.”

The Alexander family immediately looked at Argo in shock.

They didn't expect that Argo could be more on the side of the Granger family than them.

“What Argo said is true,” said Tiffany, who suddenly came into the room.

It seemed that she had been deliberately eavesdropping on their conversation from outside the room.

Tiffany came before them with a very neat appearance, using a wig that she had for a long time.

“You all should be able to think wisely like Argo, not think stupidly by saying that Mr. Dave's death was my father's doing.”
