Chapter 6: Sweetheart

Stacey Charley was utterly shocked.

"Do you have a husband?"

She and Elizabeth Black attended the same school and were in the same major. They had both been single their entire lives, so how could Elizabeth Black suddenly have a husband?

"Mm." Elizabeth Black nodded.

The bus had already arrived, and everyone was getting off. Elizabeth Black looked into Stacey Charley's eyes and said, "Stacey Charley, I never told you, but I'm actually married. My husband is Rupert Washington."

Elizabeth Black turned her face away and huffed.

Elizabeth Black ground her teeth, "You're laughing while I'm angry."

Elizabeth Black had just had a chaotic dream.

In the dream, Will Tennyson said, "You and Rupert Washington are a joke."

Then Diana Moses appeared, saying, "You're just a stand-in, a pitiful one."

She also dreamed of Nydia Leighton.

She was truly beautiful, wearing a dress, walking on the red carpet, turning back with a smile that captivated all.

Elizabeth Black yawned, her mood was terrible.

"I'm sleepy." She rolled over and continued to sleep.

But Rupert Washington wasn't letting her off.

Taking advantage of the alcohol, Rupert Washington started to ignite the fire.

Elizabeth Black was silent for a few seconds, then, annoyed, she suddenly sat up.

She grabbed Rupert Washington's collar and pinned him to the headboard.

Rupert Washington, seeing her so dominant and proactive for the first time, felt a spark in his eyes. He loosened his grip, giving her space to act.

Elizabeth Black kissed him.

Rupert Washington didn't move, waiting for more.

Elizabeth Black kissed him several more times, moving down.

Just as Rupert Washington's Adam's apple was bobbing wildly, she leaned in and whispered in his ear.

"Call me 'hubby.'"

Rupert Washington: "Mm."

He interlocked his fingers with hers, moved by the moment.

Elizabeth Black's eyes curved into a smile.

The next second, a mischievous light appeared in her eyes.

"Help me get a sanitary pad."
