As the days went by, Amelia noticed that Rothschild had started to distance himself from her. He barely spoke to her and had barely touched her for weeks.

Amelia was growing incessantly worried. She couldn't remember the last time Rothschild had spoken to her, not even to criticize her. All of a sudden, Rothschild had stopped bringing in women and none of them ever visited and that was when Amelia knew that something was wrong.

Initially, she had thought that Rothschild had decided to change and stop bringing women home but when he started avoiding Amelia like a plague, Amelia knew that there was more to his sudden change in attitude.

One morning, while Amelia was cleaning the bedroom she shared on most nights with Rothschild, she came across a paper that was underneath the dresser.
