Chapter Nineteen; Gala (3)

After making small talks with those circle of rich women, courtesy of Elizabeth Black, Cindy was tired to the core.

After announcing the donations made by different partners with Jonathan donating a new building to one of the welfare homes and 5 billion, it was now the climax of the gala.

The auction. This was an auction of the ladies who participated in the gala and the auction money was to be donated to the welfare homes.

Cindy and some of the ladies were called to go one of the rooms where all of them would come from when they were called. Cindy was really nervous and wouldn't let go of Jonathan's hands.

"Sweetheart, you know don't have to go if you don't want to. No one is going to force you," he spoke to her in a gentle voice like someone comforting a child.

"But this is the routine of the gala, if I don't go people would start talking. I'll go but you have to bid for me okay? I can't go with any guy other than you," Cindy plead
