Chapter 24:Meeting the Queen

Clara hugged Ragnor tightly with her eyes wide open.

He felt her tears soaking his shirt.

"Hey, is okay," He said stroking the back of her head.

Clara pulled her feet up curling herself up like a kitten in Ragnor's arms. She was so terrified.

He kept wondering what might have scared her so much to make her look so pale and shaking like a leaf.

Eventually, Clara fell asleep again as she was still feeling exhausted. He held her all through the night till morning.

Clara opened her eyes and realized Ragnor was sitting with his back resting on the headboard of the bed. His hands wrapped around her protectively.

Judging from her position she realized he sat like that and held her while she slept all through till morning. He had his eyes closed. His jet-black hair was messy, but his face was very relaxed.
