Chapter 22: Blades And Cuts.

Alyia's Point of View.

"It's raining. I'll go get the foods that we bought. You run into the car, Lyra." Cosmos said and got his distance away from me instantly.

I saw him walk to where our foods are, I just stand still here. Frozen and can't process anything in my mind.

Seconds passed, I felt like my hand sore because of the raindrops slowly getting inside my bandages that made me flinch and started to run towards the car.

When I got in, Cosmos' gaze was the first one that caught my sight but I instantly avoided my gaze to meet his.

"Take me home." I said before I leaned against my seat.

I didn't hear him say anything but he started driving away from where we were.

It's still raining outside so I can't open the window just like what I did when we were on our way to the ocean.

I didn't bother to utter any word just like him. He didn't start any conversation with me so I just sat here silently.

The drive to my condo was so long that I didn't notice that we are heading to it now
