Abigail's p.o.v;

After walking out of the college entrance, I started walking to the bus terminal. While I was walking I saw Mike walking in front of me. I remained silent and walked behind him.

Suddenly, he stopped which made me bumped into him.

"Ouch!"

He turned and asked, "What are you doing?"

"Heading to the bus terminal of course. Why did you stop?"

"Why did you walk closer to me?"

"I didn't realise I was closer since I was looking at my phone." Said while showing my phone to him and said, "I'm sorry. It's my mistake." And walked past him.

Mike ran after me and asked while walking beside me, "Why do you hate werewolves?"

"It doesn't concern you."

"It does concern me. Being a werewolf."

I looked at him and asked, "What's your special ability?"

( Werewolves become fully grown at a certain age and when they attain that age, they'll reveal their special abilities. The special abilities differ from each werewolf pack. With the information, I heard some become stronger than before, some become smarter )

"Looks like you know lot about werewolves but still you're saying you hate them. I haven't attained my full transformation yet so I didn't know what my ability is. By the way, Why are you interested if you hate them?"

"I heard a werewolf gaining mind reading ability as their ability. That's why I asked you to be careful around you."

"Looks like you're the smart one here. By the way, you didn't tell me why you got transferred to this city while you're living in a vacation place."

"Why do you want to know?"

"Aren't we friends? Friends should get to know each other."

"When did we become friends?"

"Since i helped you to get to the school on your first day, you're my friend now."

"I don't want to be your friend."

"But I want to. Since I'm always surrounded by my kind. I always wanted a human friend."

"Talk to me while you're surrounded by your friends. I'll become your friend."

"You know that I can't do that."

"I can't be your friend either. I don't like hiding things." And headed to the bus terminal.

At house,

When I came to my house, dad wasn't there yet. Looks like he's still at his work. He left a note on the fridge telling me he had something to do before picking up dinner, so it was just me for dinner today.

Not that it really matters when you live with your father in this small town, but it's nice anyway. He'd been working late, so I didn't have to worry about being home alone for once; I've been getting used to eating dinners alone since dad and I moved here and there because of his work. I put my bag on the couch then headed upstairs for a shower.

While I was washing up when I heard footsteps coming down the stairs. Did he come back early today? I dried off, turned the water off, and headed downstairs.

Dad looked tired as he stood in front of me. "Hey." His voice sounded quiet and tired.

"Hi," I answered softly.

"How did school go?"

I shrugged slightly. "Alright, I guess."

Dad smiled and kissed me on the top of my head. "Goodnight, kiddo."

I nodded in response.

He picked up his suitcase, slung it over one shoulder, and left, shutting the door behind him. Looks like he's tired from work. I ate my dinner alone in the end and went to my room.

At my room, I finished all my assignments and got ready for bed. The only light left in the room was from my phone lighting up every so often with a new text or call. It is 11pm now; it's past time for me to get some sleep. But not before taking one last look at the screen.

From Emma, "What's up?"

I rolled my eyes at her text message.

"Nothing." I replied simply.

My conversation with Emma went on until I finally said good night and hung up. Once I turned off my phone, I crawled under my covers and drifted off to sleep.

The next morning when I woke up it's 8:30am.

Waking up early isn't exactly what I had planned for my day, but the thought of going to school has already crossed my mind once again and that's something I can't let go of. Besides, if things work out well, today's Friday and then tomorrow is Saturday. So I have an entire weekend to relax! After getting dressed and brushing my teeth, I put on a pair of jeans and a loose fitting hoodie. I also put on a bracelet my mom made for me years ago that said "Babe," which I've loved ever since she made it.

After putting on my shoes and running my fingers through my hair, I decided to check the weather report, since we wouldn't hear from the rest of the group until later. I put on my earbuds and plugged them into my phone as I stepped outside.

As I looked around to see if I could spot any cars driving by, I noticed someone standing right in front of me with headphones on. The person seemed to be listening to music really loudly. They were wearing a black leather jacket with an oversized white shirt and dark blue jeans. Without realising it, I took a step closer to see who the person was. Before I knew it they turned around, looking at me with a surprised expression.

"Uh… Hey…" He greeted. I'm assuming he recognized me, seeing as I was still staring at him. This caught me slightly off guard.

I just nodded back, "H… Hello."

The boy gave me a small smile and held out his hand towards me, "Name's Dean Winchester. Nice to meet you. What's your name?"

This guy sure knows how to make a first impression. And it doesn't help that he looks like he works out way too much. His arms are thick and toned. Not too short, not too big either... I think it was called biceps? And he was built. Very much so, especially compared to myself. I don't know what came over me as I took Dean's hand and shook it.

"It's um…" My face went completely red. Why am I being so weird?! "I'm Abigail Hopper."

"Are you the one who moved two weeks ago with your dad?"

"Yup! That's me."

"Which school do you go to?"

"Westchester high."

He nodded and asked, "Do you want a ride?"

"Are you studying there?"

He let out a laugh and said, "I graduated two years ago. I'm in college now. Do I look that young to you even with the body I have?" He asked while showing me his biceps by lifting off his shirt.

"Abigail!"

When I turned, my dad was standing in front of the house.

"Your dad?"

"Yeah." And I nodded and asked, "Is that your house?"

"Yup! Living all alone."

"Okay, gotta go to school."

"We'll catch up later."

After a while, dad was driving the car while I was looking at my phone and texting Emma.

Dad, "You've been on the phone more lately. Did you have a boyfriend already?"

"I wonder how you can ask me to put me in a werewolf school. And, this is my friend, Emma, I'm talking to."

He nodded and asked, "Have you joined any clubs?"

"Not yet. I'm still adjusting to my regular classes for now."

"If you decide to join, take swimming classes…"

Before he finished, I said, "Dad, we've talked about this. Don't try to spoil my mood for the whole day."

I kept my phone back into my bag and looked at the outside through the window.

After a while, he dropped me off at Hales Avenue and took off in his car. While I was waiting for the bus, Mike stood beside me and asked, "Why the long face?"

I gave a stare at him and continued looking at the road.

When the bus arrived, I got in and took a seat in the front to avoid him but he took the seat behind me and asked, "Do you know how to sing?"

"Why?" I asked while looking at the front.

"If you don't know, then you're going to be in big trouble."

I turned and asked him, "What do you mean by that?"

"You'll see it when we're there." And stuck his earphones into his ears and started listening to music.

At college,

While I was walking past the playground, the railing was fully finished and it looked like a stage for some performance. I stopped for a moment and looked at the stage they prepared. What's going to happen here?

"Doesn't it look amusing?"

When I turned to see who it was, it's Aiden, the representative.

"Yeah, it's good."

"Have you decided which club you are going to join?"

"I'm still thinking."

He gave a nod and said, "If you're unsure of choosing clubs, choose mine. I'll take care of you."

'Cute.'

"Which club are you in?"

When I asked him, his cheeks blushed. What made him blush like that?

He said, "Cooking."

"What!?"

'Did i say that aloud? Will he take that in a bad way? I didn't mean it like that.'

He continued, "I know. I get that a lot. But does my attire have to match my club? Can't I do whatever I like?"

'You can do whatever you want to with that face.'

He cleared up his throat and said, "You can join any club you're interested. I was just kidding with you." and walked into the playground.

  • Wolf and Blood   Chapter 50

Abigail's p.o.v;After a year, I moved to Beacon hills along with Mike to study college together with him. We were both accepted into the University of Washington, and we started our life together as a couple there. He was very supportive, making sure that I didn't want to change my major, or make any new friends. Mike is an incredibly supportive person and helped me find my niche in life when I needed it most.We were happily engaged after five years. Our relationship was strong and healthy, and I love him so much it hurts sometimes but I'm so thankful that he's there for me and supports me in ways no one else can. I love him so much it makes me feel like I'll explode if I try to say it to his face. Our wedding anniversary is coming up, which is why I'm writing this journal instead of going on another date at night. As you can see from the last entry, my engagement ring and ring are on display at home for all to see as well as the picture that accompanied this entry. The next time a

Abigail's p.o.v;Mike, "How can you be so sure about it? aren't you the one who said it's a werewolf than why are you changing it now?""Because the murders occurred here are only humans not a werewolf.""What about my brother? he's a werewolf too.""Think about his special ability. it's mindreading. what if he founded the murderer with his special ability? When i got to the scene, he was already stabbed by that murderer, right? it's like he knows everything about them and when they kill their victims he can see it in his head."The room had gone silent. Mike thought for awhile, but couldn't come up with anything else, he looked at me and asked "why would he do that though? i mean the police will never get evidence against him since the killer is human and they don't have supernatural powers." Mike knew I didn' t have an answer for that so we went back to our previous argument from before. It's been 3 weeks now and there still hasn't been any clues. i continued, "I have another poin

  • Wolf and Blood   Chapter 48

Abigail's p.o.v;Lucas called me for the investigation about one of my cases, which was weird and not typical at all, but I did ask him why he was calling me about it instead of his sister, who I'm pretty sure was a cop in training, and he didn't have an explanation, but then again, we' weren't close enough to have that many secrets from each other anyway. And then I went on and told her what had happened. She wanted details, so we talked for hours until she decided she couldn't handle more than two seconds longer. When we said goodbye after the call she told me she thought Lucas was in love with someone else (which, like, no, Lucas has absolutely no chance), and that was when I realised Lucas is actually gay.I think I've already told you this because you're going to find out sooner or later anyway, but I haven't mentioned that I know Lucas isn't straight to anyone but my best friend Emma and I don't want any of them to get hurt, especially since they've been through enough with the

  • Wolf and Blood   Chapter 47

Abigail's p.o.v;I sigh as I put my phone back down on the kitchen island, not really in the mood to type anything else that day. There has been a lull in the rain for almost two weeks and I don't mind taking advantage of it. My dad has been spending less time at home these days anyway. Ever since he started getting involved with his new job, and then got offered an opening elsewhere. It wasn't easy but he had managed to do both, without much of a hitch. He still hasn't told me what it is yet though, nor where he plans on going after it either. And that's something I'm trying very hard not to ask about. It's only been a month, and there are so many questions I have that I want to ask him. But I can' t bring myself to just ask them, and risk him leaving again. We're good right now, or we will be when things calm down some more. Right now all I know is that he feels a little guilty about it, and wants to get back to his routine as soon as possible. So he has been staying longer than pl

  • Wolf and Blood   Chapter 46

Abigail's p.o.v;It had only been a few weeks since my first day of school, but already there was so much I didn't know. My mother would be here in an hour and she'd have to go to work and she'd probably call around to tell me where to be and what time I need to get back home and who' s waiting outside at the curb. It all sounds like too much for me, especially in such a short period of time, but Mrs. Mills is very nice and has explained that we are going to make sure I'm comfortable, even if it might not seem like it right now. And it isn' t just her teaching that makes my mom worry – she's also working as the teacher of this elementary school, which means that she is constantly on top of me and always checking in with me. She doesn' t know why my dad left, she doesn' t know how bad things got between him and Mr. Williams, but I' m sure that if she did, she wouldn' t worry as much about me. That' s not to say my parents are not good parents, but they' re a little bit overprotective s

  • Wolf and Blood   Chapter 45

Abigail's p.o.v;“Alright, guys. Here’s the plan. It's a simple matter really, all you have to do is follow my directions. I will be in charge of directing, and you are free to listen to any orders that you would like to receive from me or any other person. Any questions?”I felt my cheeks heat up as I listened to what the others were saying. The whole time we had been here, the only reason why I was allowed to join was so that I could “get out of their way and let them get on with whatever they were doing”.The fact that I actually agreed on this whole thing was because I knew that if I didn't, then I would just end up being left behind. And I wasn' about to lose everything that I had worked for. That said, now it appeared that there was a possibility that I might be able to enjoy myself. Or at least, I could try to. The only issue would be finding my own way around since, even though I did know how to get from point A to point B, I hadn' really seen anything else besides the kitchen
