Oliver's POV

When I saw my mate, I realized she was even more beautiful than Luke had described. I couldn’t take my eyes off her, and I wasn’t going to leave her.

I turned to her sisters. “She needs to get to the Pack Hospital now. Take Doctor Gregory with you, he knows the way. He’s been a doctor a long time; he can help.”

There was no time to waste. I had waited so long for this moment; too long. I wasn’t about to lose her because some bastard had hurt her. I was grateful her sisters listened without hesitation. If they had not, I wouldn’t have thought twice about carrying her there myself.

“Don’t you dare leave!” the loudest of the men at the gate bellowed. “I command you to stay! They belong to me and to my pack! I will not leave without them!”

He was screaming at her sisters as they got into the car, but I was glad they ignored him; just as I did. His commands held no weight here. This wasn’t his territory. And that woman? She wasn’t his. She was mine.

I turned to Wade. “I don’t

Damien's POV In the blink of an eye, we were dropped in front of my pack. My stomach sank.Ciara was far more powerful than I had ever been led to believe. She hovered there, watching us in silence. I could feel it, she was studying us, measuring, calculating. Then, after a long, heavy pause, she finally spoke. “I want to give you all fair warning,” Ciara said, her voice calm but deadly serious. “I’ll be training Maya. She needs to learn how to control her powers. And you need to understand something, she may very well become more powerful than I am.”She let that sink in for a moment, her gaze sweeping over us. “Think about that,” she continued. “Really think about it. You need to make some serious changes in this pack. The three of you are some of the worst wolves I’ve ever encountered. You put yourselves first, your egos, your desires, while the pack suffers. You took an oath to protect them, but all you seem to do is chase after she-wolves. It’s pathetic. Disgusting.”“I just got

Damien's POV I thought she was dead. I recognized her the moment she appeared, she looked exactly like Maya. The resemblance was uncanny. After Ciara disappeared, Jace assured us she was gone for good. We all believed he had killed her, and that was why she never came back.My father spent years worrying she might return, but once fifteen years passed without a trace, we were certain she was dead.So when Maya turned eighteen and didn’t phase, all hell broke loose. Beta Jace withdrew his support from his own daughter. Once that became public, the last few months of school were unbearable for her.She only made it through because her younger sisters stepped in and carried the weight she could no longer bear. It’s been over twenty years, and I never once expected her mother to come back.Things got a little better for Maya after she graduated. Like the rest of us, she had to work to keep the pack running smoothly. But Kayla’s hostility only intensified. Every month, without fail, she m

Ciara's POV “How could you, Lauren? You were supposed to be mine!” Zach yelled, his voice cracking with frustration. “I’ve wanted you for years. This jerk just met you! Why couldn’t you accept me?”I didn’t flinch. My voice was calm but commanding. “Open the gate. Let him in.”The gate guards glanced at Ashton for approval before slowly swinging the gate open. I could have bypassed the whole thing, lifted both men over the fence without breaking a sweat, but I chose to be polite. I’m on their turf, and I’m doing my best to respect their pack’s boundaries. Besides, the less they know about the extent of my power, the better. Power flaunted carelessly becomes a weakness others can exploit.“Are you serious right now?” Lauren snapped, glaring at Zach. “I don’t like you. I never did. I’ve told you that more times than I can count. I only ever wanted my mate and you knew that. It’s why you were always so angry with my father.”She stopped there, realizing she was getting dangerously close

Ciara's POVI’ve got this little creep by the throat, and I’m struggling not to end him right here. I know exactly why he came, his disgusting intent is written all over him. He deserves to be crushed. I saw it all in his memories while I held him: every twisted thing he’s done to her over the years. I knew it was bad, but I didn't know it was this bad.I may have lied to Ashton when I said I could handle this without seriously hurting him. I haven’t even had the chance to talk to my daughter about what she went through, but I will. Even if she doesn’t want to speak, I can still see her memories. I’m afraid to look, though. Afraid of the truth. Afraid of just how much pain she endured after Jace threw me out of the pack. But that promise I made to him? It’s void now. I made it to protect his mate and children, but after what they did to my daughter, the Blackwood pack is fair game. And I intend to make them suffer.I dragged the piece of filth to the gate and dropped him there. He was

Ashton's POV “I can wait for the investigation,” Ciara replied with a calm smile. “I’ll enjoy watching Damien and his men stripped of their ranks and sentenced to death. They deserve every bit of it. And when the time comes, I might even volunteer to carry out their execution myself.”I nodded slowly. “Alright. I’ll let you handle it. But promise me, no one dies tonight. Damien just entered the hospital. He’ll be here any minute.”“I’ve got it. Don’t worry,” she said, already switching into action mode. “Fiona, Joan, I need you both to stand in the far-left corner. I want you to record everything that happens. That way, the pack has full deniability.”She turned to the rest of the room.“Everyone else, stand along the wall behind the door. When he walks in, he won’t see you. Oliver, stay where you are, by Maya’s side. He’ll expect to see you there anyway.”Then she looked at Maya. “I’ll need you to take the letter back out and start reading it once the recording begins. That will hel

Ashton's POV I kept everyone updated on Damien’s movements after I broke the news that he had returned to the pack, this time to try and take Maya. Oliver was angrier than I had ever seen him. He wanted to kill Damien, but I couldn’t let that happen. As much as I understood his rage, trespassing on my packland wasn’t an offense worthy of death, no matter how infuriating Damien was.Maya placed her hand gently on Oliver’s arm, and though he calmed, the fury never left his eyes. Ciara watched the two of them with quiet interest and smiled. I think she’s fully on board with Oliver being with her daughter.“If you just want him hurt but not dead, I can handle that,” Lauren offered casually. She could sense I was wrestling with how far to go with Damien’s punishment. It was a fine line, I knew the Council didn’t want me to take any serious action against him. But they had been warned to make sure he understood the consequences. I’m positive they tried. What they underestimated was just ho
