Is Leah a Monster?

Leah didn't understand what was happening to her. She had accidentally injured Mike. Before things got too complicated, she chose to leave and skip school.

"What have I done to Mike?" Leah was confused. She stopped the taxi and headed home.

A few minutes later, Leah arrived home. Paul caught a glimpse of her before he went to work. It was strange that Leah didn't usually come home so early during school hours.

"Leah!" called Paul. The girl didn't answer his call and rushed into her room.

"Leah, what's going on?" asked Paul from behind the door.

"Leave me alone!" snapped Leah from inside. She shut herself in her room crying.

"Did that guy hurt you again at school?" Paul wanted to know and make sure.

"I don't wanna say his name again."

"Okay. Then I'll go to work. Take good care of yourself at home until I get back. Do you understand?"

Leah only mumbled. Then, Paul immediately went to work. He was already late for work.

Meanwhile in her room, Leah looked at herself in the mirror. She suddenly felt frightened looking at herself. She stroked her chest and then looked at her hands with a strange feeling.

Leah didn't come out of her room all day. When Paul came home, she was still locked up in her room. Paul knocked on her door. He hoped Leah would open the door and tell him what was really going on.

"Leah, let me in! We need to talk," Paul said.

"Come in, I didn't lock the door," Leah replied.

After getting Leah's permission, Paul immediately approached Leah in her room. The girl looked glum, her eyes puffy as if she had been crying all day.

"What makes you sad?" asked Paul. "Do you want to tell me?"

Leah remained silent and just stared at Paul. There were actually a lot of questions in Leah's mind that she wanted to ask Paul. However, she was reluctant to say it.

"Get up from your bed! I promised you yesterday that I would teach you martial arts. Do you remember?" Paul changed the subject when he realised Leah didn't want to talk about her current problems.

"Really?" Leah was immediately enthusiastic. Paul nodded.

They went somewhere. An old uninhabited building. It was the perfect place for Leah to learn martial arts. Paul himself would teach her.

"What is this place?" Leah looked around.

"Don't protest! This is the only place we can use for your martial arts training," Paul said reasonably.

"Leah, let's get started!" Paul gave her the signal.

With great patience, Paul directed Leah, teaching her everything from self-defence to hunting. Paul asked Leah to use her instincts and unleash all the power within her.

Leah was astonished at her own power. Then, she said something to Paul.

"At school, I accidentally injured Mike with my powers," Leah said.

"Is he still alive?" Paul was shocked to hear Leah's confession.

"Yes. I think he's still alive." Leah hesitated to answer him. "Can my powers cause harm to others?"

"You need to be able to control your powers and control your emotions. That's the only way to handle it," Paul advised her.

"Paul, who am I?" asked Leah curiously. "Do you know anything about me?"

Paul was silent for a moment. He was at a loss to explain it to Leah. At the moment, Leah herself didn't know her true identity. If Leah had known that Paul was a werewolf, she would have been shocked and run away from him.

"Answer me!" Leah insisted.

"Leah, I'm sorry. I can't say it now." Paul refused to tell her the truth.

"Am I a monster?" guessed Leah.

"No! You're not like that. Why would you think that?" argued Paul.

"Then what am I?" snapped Leah. She was annoyed that Paul didn't answer her question.

She was so upset with Paul that Leah walked away from her bodyguard. The girl was desperate and furious with Paul.

"LEAH!" called Paul. Unfortunately, Leah had already left in a taxi.

Leah arrived in a village with a lot of forest. That's how far she travelled, leaving Paul and her home behind. She went for a walk alone in the forest.

"I hate you, Paul," Leah swore. She kept walking and paid no attention to her surroundings.

In the middle of the forest, Leah breathed in the fresh afternoon air. She felt comfortable there. It felt calm and peaceful.

Suddenly, there was a rumbling sound behind the trees and grass. Leah's instincts were strong. She felt that someone was watching her. She thought it was Paul. When she turned around, she was surprised to see a pack of wolves surrounding her.

"Who are you?" one of the wolves asked.

Leah was astonished to hear that the wolves could speak like humans. They approached Leah and scared her.

"Don't come any closer, I don't want to hurt any of you," Leah warned.

The wolves laughed in Leah's face and thought everything she said was a joke. They thought how could an ordinary human like Leah dare to challenge the wolves.

"Tonight, are we going to eat this human? She looks so delicious," said one wolf. He looked the hungriest after looking at Leah.

Leah was a little scared when they approached her. She also almost cried when the wolves were about to touch her.

"I told you don't touch me!" snapped Leah. However, the wolves ignored her.

"I'm so hungry. How about I start first?"

"DON'T COME CLOSE!" shouted Leah. She drew strength from her hands and swatted the wolf away as it was about to hurt her.

The wolf was instantly sent flying, crashing into a large tree and collapsing instantly. All the wolves looked with both wonder and amazement at Leah.

"Can an ordinary human like you be that strong?"

"Who are you exactly?"

"Me?" Leah couldn't say. She didn't know who she was.

Seeing that one of his wolf friends was injured, they suddenly attacked Leah. Leah ran as fast as she could to avoid them. She ran faster and faster. Now, Leah was being hunted by the hungry wolves.

Leah and the wolves fought in the middle of the forest. Luckily, Leah had been taught martial arts by Paul. Although her martial arts skills were not perfect, at least she could protect herself from the wolves' attacks.

'Paul, help me!' Leah said to herself. She tried to talk to Paul through telepathy. She hoped Paul could hear her heart right now.

Leah was in danger. She was trapped in the middle of the wolf pack. Her hands and feet were injured from their scratches. She was furious. No one should touch her body unless that person or whatever wanted to die at her hands.

With her bare hands, Leah fought the wolves tooth and nail. Despite being overwhelmed by them, Leah still had enough energy to finish them all off. She felt this was the perfect time to exercise her strength.

"You will all die at my hands," Leah challenged boldly.

"DEATH TO ALL OF YOU!" she shouted as she fought with them.
