Chapter 1 You Satisfy Me Perfectly

"Here's fifty million dollars. Get me out of here."

They were on a mountain road by the river. The cold wind was chilling to the bone.

Victoria Jameson was seated inside a black sedan. She was staring motionlessly at a man through her rearview mirror.

Covered in blood, he had barged into her car and sat in the backseat.

"What's the matter? Is that too little?" His sharp voice was cold, with a hint of impatience.

"I can't drive. The car has a flat tire." Victoria looked at the man briefly before shifting her gaze.

From the moment he got into the car, she could smell the metallic taste of blood on him … and an aphrodisiac!

The man did not speak. Only the sound of his ragged breathing echoed in the car. The veins on the back of his hands and forehead bulged as he tried to restrain the desire within him.

"One hundred million dollars." The man's voice sounded hoarse. It appeared to be growing weaker as well.

Before Victoria could reply, she noticed eight men in black approaching them through the rearview mirror.

"I'll give you a twenty percent discount. Wait for me in the car," Victoria replied in a cheerful voice. She fished a lollipop from her pocket and tore the packaging with her teeth. Then, she opened the car door and got out.

"Hand over the man and don't meddle in our business," the leader warned Victoria.

Victoria scoffed as she licked the lollipop leisurely. "I don't have much time. Why don't all of you come at me at once?"

One of the lackeys behind the leader had taken a liking to Victoria. "Boss, this attractive girl is feisty, why don't we … "

"I hate useless chatter during fights," Victoria said. It was an interference in her job.

Victoria took the lollipop out of her mouth and flung it at the man who spoke just now. It hit him squarely on the forehead.

Staggering backward, the man found himself bleeding profusely before he eventually collapsed on the ground.

"Bitch! Now you're just looking for trouble!"

"That's enough talk!" Without giving them another chance to speak, Victoria charged into the crowd.

A cracking sound rang out. The leader had his wrist snapped cleanly by a swift and precise move from Victoria.

The man inside the car leaned back and stared as Victoria handled her opponents with ease. There was a strange glint in his narrowed eyes.

He got out of the car and walked over to Victoria. He had a faint smile on his face as he complimented her, "You have impressive skills."

"Of course. I'm worth every last bit of those eighty million dollars after all." Victoria took out her phone and punched in some numbers. She handed her phone to the man. "Transfer the money. If you don't, I'll beat you up."

Benjamin Harper's lips twitched involuntarily. There was a slight crack in his poker face.

He took out his phone as well and fiddled with it. Soon, Victoria received a message notifying her of incoming funds. "Eighty million dollars received through transfer," it read.

"One, two, three … seven zeros. Alright, I received it." Victoria counted the zeros on her bank account in glee.

This deal was truly worthwhile.

"I'm sorry for my late arrival. Please punish me, sir."

Victoria put her phone away and stared at the people who suddenly appeared around her. With a charming smile, she pointed to Benjamin. "You arrived just in time. He's been drugged with an aphrodisiac. Find someone to help him out a little," she informed his men.

"I don't need to look elsewhere. You satisfy me perfectly." Benjamin walked up to Victoria and lifted her chin.

Victoria smirked and grabbed Benjamin's shoulder. She turned around and executed a shoulder throw, pinning Benjamin to the ground.

She stared at Benjamin beneath her. His face was streaked with blood, so she couldn't see his features clearly. Only his eyes were visible. They held a reddish tinge, sharp as an eagle's, radiating an unsettling intensity.

He was a tough character, and definitely not someone to be messed with.

His body was stiff. His skin was burning all over. If it weren't for the eighty million dollars, she would have punched him, regardless of the danger he posed.

On the other hand, Benjamin was lost in thought as his hands encircled Victoria's waist. His only thought was how tiny her slender waist was.

Victoria aimed at Benjamin's injured arm and delivered a blow with her elbow. Sweat dotted his forehead as he grunted in pain and released her.

"Have you returned to your senses? You don't even know who I am. Yet, you want to sleep with me? I am the fiancée of the heir of the Harper family in Youngville. I don't sleep with just anyone."

Benjamin raised his eyebrows and sized Victoria up. His husky voice was low as he said, "Zachary Harper of the Harper family?"

Was this woman his nephew's wife, then?

"Now you know," Victoria replied.

Benjamin said meaningfully, "He is about to be engaged to Ms. Jameson from the Jameson family."

Victoria snorted with disdain. "She's a fake."

When Victoria was born, there had been a mix-up at the hospital. She and Colette Jameson were swapped at birth.

When the Jameson family found out, they were both seven years old.

Upon returning to the Jameson family, she found no love or affection from her biological parents. Out of guilt, her grandmother arranged her marriage to the Harper family.

Not long after, she was kidnapped. It took another seven years before she was found.

The Jameson family found her an embarrassment and refused to take her in. In the end, they left her at a nunnery in the countryside.

She wouldn't have been asked to return if it weren't for her engagement to the Harper family.

Her biological mother felt that Colette was more suitable to be a daughter-in-law of the Harper family. She had been calling Victoria incessantly these past few months to call off the engagement.

Victoria didn't mind calling off the engagement. She just didn't want to let that mother-daughter pair get their way so easily.

Her reason for returning this time was to stir up some trouble.

Victoria had bought an early morning flight to Danube City, but her car had a flat tire on the way.

It was an unfortunate start to her journey. She was already in a foul mood, but the eighty million dollars cheered her up immediately.

She managed to vent her frustrations through the fight and unexpectedly made some money. It was just perfect!

"Didn't you offer me one hundred million dollars? Have your men change my tire for the remaining twenty million dollars."

Benjamin stared at Victoria as she got into the car. That little money grubber!

"Sir, should I have her captured to relieve the effects of the drug?" Will Harper asked.

Benjamin shot him a warning glance, shutting him up.

"Change the tire for her."

After leaving such instructions, he left in another car. Victoria also left for the airport after fixing her tire.

When she got down from the car with her backpack, a rosary fell from the car.

It was a Zofist rosary with a crescent-shaped pendant. On one side of the pendant was a tiger emblem, and on the other side was the letter 'B.'

The man just now must have dropped the valuable-looking rosary.

Victoria picked it up and stuffed it into her backpack. Lugging her suitcase, she waltzed into the airport.
