I woke up to the smell of something burning and my smoke detector beeping loudly.

I stood up, walking to the kitchen where Cherry was extinguishing whatever she had decided to burn today in my kitchen.

“It seems you enjoy terrorizing my kitchen.” I said as Cherry smiled.

“Good morning.” She greeted to drag my attention from the foam that covered the burner.

My eyes went to Cherry who was wearing just a shirt and her lacy pant, revealing every time she raised her arms or bent. I sighed.

“You should have a sense of decency to honour my burnt pot in full clothing.” I said as I took out slices of bread and put them in the toast.

The moment the pot cooled down, I threw it into the trash and replaced it with a frying pan.
