Chapter Two: Love at first sight

(In this story, The human world will be destroyed but a new age will arise to retain its glory. Please read on, it might the boring in the beginning but I need to explain some things before we get to the main story and action in chapter Thirty Five.)

"Do you mind putting on my cardigan??" Vic asked, putting on a smile

"Sure, no problem!" Melody answered as she grabbed the cardigan off Vic's hand and smiled back to him.

They both departed after. As they continue walking towards the Hall, Everytime, Vic took a quick glance at the girl beside him. She had a White skin and a pretty blue hair. It's almost like every hair on her body is blue, b'cause he could see that her eyebrows are coloured blue.

 There was one thing he wondered as he looked at Melody. During the time he's been at school, he hardly noticed such beauty as hers, and this made him wondered most, did she make herself invisible all the time? Many would have fallen for such a beauty as hers. This made him to ask Melody the question.

"Do you always keep yourself invisible? I mean, during test and exam, how do you manage to receive the worksheet??" Vic asked.

"It's a simple thing to do, I don't think someone like you with no invisibility powers could understand!" Melody intentionally added the last few words to see whether Vic would say something about his ability, but Vic on the other hand wasn't able to provide such an answer.

"It's okay." Vic replied.

"Just that!!" Melody thought, "I thought he would say something about his ability, unknown to her that Vic had no ability.

They are presently In the news hall. Standing by the platform was a middle-aged man with a round pot belly. As soon as the students entered a lots of Rumor had started spreading.

"This is my first time seeing this man"

"Ah, I've seen him countless of times"

"He's the school founder"

"No he was an old student of this school"

These were the comments of the students. But only a few knew the truth, someone like Vic would know.

Vic moved closer to Melody to gossip about the man, as he got closer, he perceived a sweet scent of perfume coming from her. It was like a lily flower

"What the hell, did she spray perfume on my cardigan... Ah! Girls" Vic thought.

"Do you Know that this man is the principal" Vic asked Melody, who kept on staring at the man at front.

"I won't be surprised, I've been hearing a lot of these from others. Both real and unreal" Melody replied still not taking her eyes off the man.

"Come on, this one is true! We usually go into his office every morning to ask for the keys to the basketball court." Vic said meekly.

"Okay no problem, so what about him?" Melody asked.

"Not much, but you'll be shocked hearing it. So I will recommend you to hear it directly from him." Vic answered back, turning his head towards the direction of the man.

"What's the need telling me who he was at first?" Melody mumbled to herself, but Vic could hear what she said, although He was angered by her words, but he decided to let it slide.

"After all, she's a girl. They're all the same." Vic thought as he noticed that the man was about to begin his speech. 

Although Vic was unsure of what he said to Melody about the shocking news, he actually didn't have any idea of what the man was about to say, he just said that to broke off the silence that was between them as they were beside each other. "I just hope you won't be too shocked if they discover what I did at the basketball court." 

"Don't let it be about those people in the basketball Court." Vic prayed silently within him as he thought of the incident that happened a few minutes ago.

"Ahem! I hope everyone is here??" The man asked as he looked around. "My guess is that many of you didn't know me right? My name is Johnny Paul, I am the new principal of this school." As he said this, a round of applause followed.

"The reason why you're here is because of some reason, the school council have all decided to take all the final year student to learn at the new school in the 'UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!" As he said this, cheers of Joy filled the atmosphere of the hall, but it Soon turned to complaint from some students.

"OMG! We'll finally attend that new school!!"

"I heard it's an army school"

"Army school?? Don't tell me we'll be fighting"

"Imagine the training! Imagine the horror!!"

The whole hall was mixed with fear and happiness; so were happy to learn in the states while some were afraid of the name of the school itself, even vic was scared of what would happen to him, presently he is a student with no ability. He turned to look at Melody who appeared to be smiling.

"What! This girl is crazy, isn't she? Why is she smiling. She must have been proud of her ability. Maybe I was wrong after all." As if Melody was reading his mind, she spoke up.

"I thought you said I'll be shocked by the news?" At this point Vic was short of words. "Who the hell gave birth to this girl?"

Exiting the hall, were two new couples. There were none other than Vic and Melody, and it was causing quite a steer among the other students.

"A rare sight, do you ever notice that girl??" A student said asking his friends.

"No!! Maybe she's his sister" another concluded.

"But what is she doing here,. She looks quite young, I don't expect her to be a teacher!" Another student said as they all walked past Vic and Melody.

Vic decided to talk and said;

"Can we go somewhere secretive??"

"Here!! Thanks for the help. I think I can use my ability now." Melody said as she hand over the cardigan lent to her by Vic.

"Sure!! It's nothing, but I'm sorry for stopping your ability!!"Vic begged.

"I wish to know more about your ability!" Melody replied, as she became invisible once again.

"Man! This girl is something" Vic said as he walked home, but then he remembered something.

"Wait! what is this watch? Is it some kind of ability?? I need to find out about it."
