Walking into his living room, she loved the aroma she was perceiving. It had to do with something delicious, she presumed.
"He yo." She rushed to the kitchen and hugged him from the back.
He smiled as he chopped the carrots into small equal sizes. "When did you get in here?" He asked.
"Few moments ago, why are you the one cooking?" She was still hugging him tightly.
"Where is Samiat?"
"She traveled to see her parents." He rinsed his hands and turned to face her. "I missed you." He kissed her forehead, the kiss was heavenly. She missed it so much.
"I didn't miss you though." She let go of him. "Where do they stay? I mean Samiat's parents." She asked him.
"Katsina." He replied her. "Are you sure you didn't miss me at all?" He stared at her.
"No, I didn't." She retorted snappily.
"So, why are you here?" He knew for a fact that she was lying.

Daniel stood in front of Roshan with his head bowed to the floor, he couldn't look at him cos if he did, he'd have negative thoughts and he feared he might do something unpleasant if he continued to stare at him."Sir, you summoned me." Esther coursed to the living room with a soup spoon in her hand, she stood in front of David and lunged the spoon towards him."Here, have a taste." She said to him, he was confused at first. "Here." She stretched it further. "Just taste it and tell me what's it like." She whined like a child."I have to rinse my hands before touching that spoon." He was getting used to her weird behaviors - they were times she would wake up in the middle of the night and told him that she was craving chocolates, he would have to get some for her cos she always piled the freezer up with different brands of chocolates."Ooh, haa." She opened her mouth, he shook his head. "Open your mouth babe," She emptied the content of the spoon on her mouth and told David to lick her hand."My wife." He plainly said. "Do I have to do this?" Ben stood in front of the mirror in her room and checked herself out, she had lost some weight and she wasn't really satisfied with who was staring back at her in the mirror but there was nothing to be done about that.She heard a knock at the door and walked to the living room to attend to whoever was knocking, she got there and shouted. "Who's at the door please?" If it were before she'd have opened the door slightly to check who was knocking but ever since Daniel became a constant pest in her life, she's been more careful."Open up Ben." The person said and she immediately recognized the voice, the one she was avoiding. She turned back and wanted to ignore him but he already heard her voice."Daniel, you can't come in here." She said valiantly. "I'm busy right now and I don't need disturbances." She told him with all gladness that she wasn't careless not to have locked her door."Open up Ben." He begged

Ben and Roshan were seeing a movie on Netflix when her phone suddenly beeped. She picked it up and didn't utter a word till the call ended, Roshan noticed the scowl on her face when she dropped the phone on the sofa."Hey, what's wrong?" He asked her."I'm good Rosh." She smiled at him. "It was a call from my dad, he was actually scolding me." She said."Why?""I ignored them for a while." She told him."I've apologized to my mom mom though, she took it personal too."You shouldn't have done that." He said gently and drew her closer to himself. The days rolled in fast, Sunday finally came. Ben had slept over at Roshan's place the previous day, after a lot of pleading from Aisha she decided to spend the night there."Will you go to church now?"
