Japheth

“You look…”

“What? Less than an animal and more like a human?” Aaron asked with a grin as he plopped himself on the chair and I snorted.

“Your words, not mine,” I replied, a small smile forming on my face at his presence. I immediately shook my head, wiping the smile off my lips instantly.

I was getting a little too smiley and excited whenever he was around me. I needed to change that.

“So, breakfast?” He asked as he waved his phone at me and I opened my mouth to argue. “No arguments, Professor. It's your responsibility, right?”

My mouth closed at once and I let out a sigh of defeat. I did tell him I felt responsible for him. He would use that to his advantage for as long as he wanted.

“Don't you have class or something?” I asked and he shrugged.

“Your class is the only interesting thing in the boring university. The rest makes me fall asleep.” He replied honestly as he busied himself with his phone and I hummed slightly.

I knew he was saying that just because he liked me. Ts

Aaron“What!?”“You heard me right, Aaron.” Santiago's voice came from the other end of the phone. “You stalker was Jace. Your brother sent him to spy on you. Seriously, you should be fucking careful man.”“Why the fuck— You know what, I'll meet you in a minute,” I muttered and hung up before shoving my phone into my pocket.“Did something happen?” Japheth asked, worry evident in his expression and I let out a sigh. I shouldn't let him get too worried.“Not exactly, Santiago's in a tight spot and he needs my help.” I muttered and he let out a soft “ahh” in response. Adorable. “I'll be back.”I took out the trash and rushed to the parking lot where Santiago stood by the side, a nervous look on his face.“It was really Jace?” I asked as soon as I walked up to him and he nodded in affirmation. “Why would my own bodyguard stalk me? It makes no sense.”“Exactly. But he was sent by Matteo.”Well fuck. That was probably what he asked Jace to see him for the other day. No wonder Matteo has be

Santiago's POV “You?”Jace stared back at me with wide eyes, his hands still locked tightly in my grip and I frowned in confusion.“Why the hell have you been stalking us?” I asked in confusion because it made no sense that Aaron's bodyguard was stalking Aaron. What was his plan?“Don't get ahead of yourself, San. I'm not stalking you.”That felt like a slap to my face. Of course, I wasn't worth stalking.“Then what the fuck do you want? Why are you stalking your own boss?” I questioned as I pressed down on him even more and he coughed.“Get the fuck off me. Am I the bodyguard or are you?” He spat in annoyance but I ignored his words. I was the one in control today and heaven knew I would use this to my advantage.“The bodyguard who's acting like a creepy masked stalker? You're supposed to protect him and not act like you want to send him to his fucking grave. Do you know how scared we were this morning?”“I'm simply acting on orders,” was his reply as he suddenly rolled, sending me

Santiago's POV “You did what?!” I yelled out in shock as Aaron plopped himself on my couch. I couldn't believe my ears. “You know how ruthless your father is and you asked him to leave? You're insane.” I muttered in disbelief and he let out a frustrated sigh.“I know, alright. And I suffered for it in the white room so don't make me feel more horrible than I already am.” He mumbled in annoyance and I let out a sigh.“You sure look like shit. How did you even survive?” I asked, sitting in front of him and he shrugged.“I cried. That was how I survived.” He replied with a sneer and I snorted in amusement. “But it was all worth it. I got to spend time with Japheth and even—”“Okay, slow down. You got me confused here. You spent time with Japheth?”“The moment I was dragged out of the white room, I rushed to the university. Japheth came and for the first time in my life, it felt good to be punished. He let me hold him and I even hugged him from the back! He didn't push me away, San. You

AaronI didn't know what was more comfortable, having my hands wrapped around his arm or having my head on his shoulder. And even though the floor made my butt hurt, I didn't want to move from here. I didn't let him move even though I knew he might be uncomfortable.I loved having him so close. He smelled so devastatingly good that the urge to bury my face in his neck became so strong. It took a lot of willpower not to turn and nuzzle my nose into his neck. Because what if he pulled away?Japheth sat silently beside me, his head resting against the wall and when I turned to him slightly, his eyes were closed. He was so handsome that my heart skipped just from staring at him. “Are you uncomfortable?” I heard him ask, even with his eyes closed, and a small smile tugged on my lips.“I'm not. I like it here.” I replied and he finally opened his eyes to look at me. “But if you're uncomfortable, you can let me know and—”“I'm not uncomfortable.” He interrupted me and my eyes widened in sh

JaphethEvelyn stared at me with wide eyes, obviously stunned by my confession. I was beyond stunned too, my own words replaying in my head like a mantra.“You're g-gay?” She stuttered out in shock and that snapped me back to reality. I ran my hand over my hair, confusion washing over me at the words I had uttered without thinking.“You asked why I wasn't interested in you, you have your answer. Do not try this again, Professor Evelyn. It's not right for a beautiful lady like you.” I muttered, not turning to her once and she let out a sigh of despair.“I'm really sorry, I never knew you were… I'm sorry, once again.” She mumbled softly and I turned slightly to see she was already getting dressed. I wasn't gay. I only said that to make sure she didn't bother me anymore. That was all there was to it.“I would appreciate it…” I started and she turned to me. “...if we kept this between us. You keep my secret and I'll keep yours.” I muttered slowly, a nervous feeling suddenly washing over
