She didn’t see Jake again. Three days went by, but he never came home, not that she saw or heard. She wasn’t sure if she felt relieved or disappointed. Lolly’s was busy, hectically busy, and she was running herself ragged. She noticed the moment Jake walked into the club again. He headed straight for Buzzer’s table, and he looked pissed.

‘Holy shit,’ she thought to herself. Jake was looking at her like he was going to say something but luckily Pamela started rubbing her breasts together, and Buzzer and his boys started hooting. Jake didn’t even look at Pamela and he kept his gaze on her. He looked pissed off at her but it wasn’t like they were dating, they had sex once, that didn’t give him the right to say anything.
