When he saw Monique, he knew she was waiting for her, but he wanted to hear the words from her lips. He could not describe the happiness in his heart. Happiness flowed through his veins, reaching every corner of his body. He felt great. He raised a slender leg, with every intention to walk toward Monique and carry her to bed.

When she saw the passion in Henry’s eyes, she had the urge to rush back to her own room. Just then, Mandy’s voice came from the door, “Mr. Moore, is Mrs. Lawson asleep yet?”

Mandy’s pleasant voice was irritating in Henry’s ear. Then, another annoying voice replied, “I’m here.”

Mrs. Lawson heard the sound of a car engine, so she got out of bed to check.

Mandy was standing behind Henry, she did not notice the cold expression in his eyes and his gentle features hardening. Mandy looked at Mrs. Lawson. “Ma’am, Mr. Moore hasn’t eaten anything all day, please prepare something for him
