Chapter 405

Monique's body froze. Before she could even reply, the call was cut.

She could make out that familiar gentleman's voice but she did not have a clue about what happened. 'Why was he so mad? Wasn't he still being gentle when I was about to leave his office?'

Her whole body was shaking as though she was engulfed by a block of ice.

She was wondering why Henry was in a raged mode. Monique recalled that Henry was still in a good mood when they parted.

She was sure that this was the first time she saw Henry being so mad. She could sense the malicious aura from his tone.

Henry's temper was always unpredictable. He would suddenly be cold or gentle without any prior notice. That made others fear him.

Monique was holding on to the phone and was stunned. It was as though she lost her soul while her eyes seemed lifeless.

However, she knew that she needed to be present in front of Henry immediately. Otherwise, things would turn out so horribly that she would not be able to bear with it.
