Chapter 2 Will I die?

"You’re right! Nick, I love you so much! You always think about me, worrying that birthing will hurt my body too much, and you even wrong yourself to marry that idiot.” Ana's words explained my confusion.

These words were like a stab in my chest. I couldn't bear their mocking laughs anymore.

Slamming the door open, I caught them off guard as they yelled. My eyes burned when I saw their naked and attached bodies. The view was disgusting enough to make me want to puke.

"Rosalyn, w-what are you doing here?" Nick asked with a stunned and scared face.

"Why am I here?!" I snarled with a violent wrath present in my voice, deep drowning in the rage of betrayal and disloyalty which I got back in exchange of pure and blind love. "I'm surprised at how shameless you are. You still have the audacity to ask the question, huh? You cheater asshole?"

"Well, since there's nothing to hide anymore, might as well close the door while you live because you see, we are not done yet," he snickered, Ana joining him as well.

“Honey, didn't you say you want her to be our surrogate mother?" Ana said shamelessly.

"You heard what Ana said? You know, you are not worthless at all. If you’re willing, we can take you in at least and you won’t be a vagrant," Nick said arrogantly.

Take me in? I paid for this house, how could they have the face to say that? I can't stand their disgusting faces anymore and I'm going to throw that mattress away when they leave!

"GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!" I roared angrily, heaving in extreme anger, my eyes burned from looking at them for too long. I just want them out of my sight as soon as possible.

They exchanged a look between each other and then looked back at me.

"Your house? Since when? This homeowner's name has always been me, remember? I told them I was single while signing the owner contract and they believed me without any doubts. So, idiot! Hear me clearly! You get out of my house now!! Or I will make you pay right now!!” Nick's face darkened, a side he'd never shown to me before.

WHAT?! I couldn’t bear the fact. It’s me who has been paying the loan on. But I didn’t even own half of this house? Nick was lying to me from the very beginning?!

WHY?! What did I do wrong for him to treat me like this?

How fucking dumb I was?

“Oh poor Rosy, she’s gonna be homeless! Babe you don’t have to be that cruel to her ha ha!” Ana smirked.

Bursting into laughter, Nick said, "It's not us who are cruel to her. She was just foolish to trust people so easily. She should thank me for teaching her a lesson of not trusting anyone easily. Rosy, I thought you would be a little bit smart by learning a lesson from your jerk daddy, but it’s funny that you haven’t, ah ha ha!”

"Well, Rosalyn, we used to be good friends, if you’re willing to be our surrogate mother, I will ask Nick to let you live here. Besides, today is your wedding day, it’ll be a good time for you to conceive. Deal?" Ana glanced at Nick and offered me the ridiculous suggestion.

Nick seemed to understand what Anna meant, and his eyes immediately became evil.

I remembered the anti-wolf spray in the drawer of the coffee table. Before they approached me, I immediately took it out and sprayed it at them.

“GO TO HELL!!!” I yelled out, hearing their painful screams.

I pulled the door open with all my strength and ran out. I was shaking in terror. But I told myself, I can't fall down, I can't let them get their way.

I won't let go of them, I will find the opportunity to take revenge on them harshly.

I ran out of the bathroom and the house. Without any care or knowing where I was heading I just kept on running. Running from all of that pain, betrayal, and everything.

Still, I could feel my world collapsing but there was nothing I could do to save it. I felt irritation, unfaired, emotionally abused and numb to emotions. All I was feeling and wanted to give them exactly what they gave to me but after making it so worse that they'd be forced to remember their whole life.

I was completely disoriented and out of it. Everything was in chaos and I was feeling excruciating pain. That I couldn't recognise anyone, not the weather, not the lights, and not the car that hit me so hard that I couldn't even yell as I fell and rolled a few times on the road with everything dizzy around me.

"Master Lorcan, the girl is pretty badly injured," I heard a faint voice, fighting back the consciousness I tried to keep my eyes open.

"Wipe off the blood on the car, we must arrive at the surrogate agency on time,” A harsh and relentless voice growled. Even on the verge of fainting, I could clarify that his tall figure was looking to the other side.

Will I die now? It doesn't matter if I die, after all, life is too cruel to me. I thought that I opened the door to a happy future today, only finding out there is not my Mr. Right but a vicious snake was waiting for me.

“Wait,” There was silence for a moment while I winced in pain. I could feel the shadows looming over me.

“Send someone to take her to the hospital,” The male’s voice sounded again, “delete the traffic surveillance records of this avenue. I don't want to get involved.”

“Yes, master!”

After that, I completely lost my unconsciousness and the darkness consumes me.
